Nancy, I have followed you for years and you are the queen of foiling! If I ever need help, I just re-watch your vids! Also, your nails are always as beautiful as your foiling😉. Thx so much. You are very much appreciated 💜
HI Nancy, 👸 You have gone & done it again 👍 WOW thank you so so much for sharing a really wonderful & very helpful tutorial Nancy, I really do appreciate all that you do on your channel I love u & your Excellent True to form with no problem channel Lin 👍❤️✨🦋
Hi Nancy! You can use the back of your big snowflake background foil die to foil wastefoil to paper. (As a bonus, since it is made by Crafter's Companion, you don't have to worry about it harming your CC Gemini FoilPress.) I have used the backside of a background foil die from Scrapbooking Made Simple (and the back of a Couture Creations foil die, too) with my Go Press'n'Foil to successfully foil wastefoil onto cardstock many times. No need to buy a special plate to foil with wastefoil! Have fun!
Thank you so much for your foiling videos. I just tried my foilpress last weekend and had loads of trouble. Your videos have answered so many of my questions that I couldn’t find answers to anywhere else. The glimmer foil was my biggest problem! And now I have a very warped plate….but at least I know why now thanks to you! Wondering if anyone has tried sending it through the Gemini upside down like we do our cutting plates that are warped. Thanks again! So helpful!!
Thank you 😊 for this video - it was very informative 👌👍👏. I love my Gemini FoilPress and my Gemini machines (Daddy & Jr). I bought the larger platform so I can use it with the Daddy machine to foil onto the front of my card base.
Hot foil has adhesive built in. It has nothing to do with the smoothness of the medium. You can hot foil on cork, fabric, ribbon, leather, burlap, etc. No powder tool is needed. That's why I did this video to show no difference between using it or not with all different textures of paper.
Hot foil will stick to anything when heat is applied. Gemini foil can be used with double sided tape, deco foil duo gel and stencils, or zig two way glue.
@@NancyStamps thank god you replied too and corrected my mistake, seen already quite some of you videos so should have known this 😫, so thx 4 correcting me! You are fab 👍

I’ll gladly contribute to your laboratory experiment supplies if your machine breaks! LOL Love the myth buster video!
The powder on the navy card actually looks like swirling snow. Kind of cool.
Can you use the copper plate with the glimmer???
Love this! Where did you get the plate with the trees and deer??
Crafters companion. Try HSN or Craft Stash
I appreciate your video, but I believe the powder tool is to be used if the cardstock isn't so smooth. Just saying

Here is my Hot Foil playlist for all the hot foiling I have tried: ruclips.net/p/PLJHNF45rWTP0giI4l0jXenu35Nmm8dC-j
How the devil do I miss these? My watch doesn't let me know, my phone doesn't beep, UGH😵.Is that your original plate on your Gemini?
I just threw away my original foilpress plate.
you didn't try the metal stencil...darn
Oh shoot, I forgot!
Just an FYI, you can unwarp plates by putting them in hot water and standing something heavy on them.
Not the Hot Foil platform
@@NancyStamps no, not the platform, but the plates that go on top.
But can you make the hot foil platform unwrap? Yep, mine is warped.
I dont have hot foiling machine and i have Genmi foul how can i use it
With Toner sheets/pen and a laminator

No, the hot foil will stick to everything when heat is applied.
