answering the question in the title, it depends. yes, it's cheaper than wooting, but it's okay in price sense if you are making decision through basic to max versions. I wouldn't even recommend to buy the ultra version, and even other ones. the software has not support for other switches, that aren't present there. and probably even won't (I am not sure about this, I asked the seller on aliexpress, they said it supports just these switches, they didn't even respond on the site). if I were to install geon raptors, I would not get the right settings for them, so it renders them useless pretty much (I guess so, I don't have the keyboard, and reviews won't really say anything about it). yeah, in most situations you are not going to use other switches, all gateron jades are good, etc., but locking usability only for them? I don't quite sure has your version tmr or not, but even with tmr - (for people that want to buy it) why would you replace your mechanical keyboard for this? if you want he switches, buy anything but this. if you want common switches, why even bother?
in all respect, it's like buying the cheapest mechanical keyboard - for me, an osu player, switching from regular keyboard gave me ability to play better, for anyone else - I don't know, maybe a way to express the "hobby".
it's maybe cheap, but comparing this to wooting is like comparing the cheapest mechanical keyboard to akko keyboards or sth like that.

You have some valid points. But you are able to use different HE switches. The only reasons they list 5 of them is because those are the ones that will reach the .01mm actuation point claim by the manufacturer out of the box. All others switches could reach it but it just depends on the switch and testing them.
Also the cross capability between mechanical and magnetic is a good feature so you can switch between them in case you get tired of one or the other.
The comparison with Wooting is because Wooting is considered the #1 HE keyboard so that’s where you have to compare. The fun60ultra cost half a Wooting and for someone wanting to get into HE keyboards coming from mechanical this is definitely a good start if they can’t afford Wooting.

@@papacharliegames about different he switches, I really tried to get much info, because I wanted to buy fun60 max, but haven't got any info, so that "lock" in switches made me go and get ajazz ak820 max (both with wooting has 0.1mm precision, if I'm not mistaken). but speaking of tmr - I might be somewhere between my point and yours now. it's probably good in the eyes of the user. and speaking of comparing - with all info it's complicated. maybe not the cheapest, but low-mid budget keyboard and pretty good ones. but wooting, I think, has brand markup so in price comparison it's waaay better to get fun60's

@@sooomucheffort I personally haven't tried the ajazz but hopefully ill look into it and see if i can review it to compare to fun60. Thank you

Hello, if you install the Geon Raptor switches, you would probably reach 0.1mm precision on the keyboard and it shall theoretically work. However, to make sure the keyboard works in 0.01mm precision as advertised, we will need to physically purchase the switches and test in our lab before to make sure they can reach advertised settings. There are many switches in the market so we will need to periodically update.
