Godzilla could not transform into thermo so easily because to get to this form you need mothra and it's not like mothra kills herself every five seconds, on the other hand Sonic does have the emeralds He has them on hand like in the Sonic unleashed cinematic at the beginning
Conclusion: Sonic could go around Godzilla so fast and then hit him in the head and because of the speed kill him from a brain trauma already with super and Archie do I need to explain?

In my opinion, Sonic could beat godzilla if he doesn't trust too much, I mean, Sonic has already defeated giant creatures in the past (Mostly robots and mechs) so I don't see that Sonic has a problem fighting with another giant being, it's true that godzilla could beat Sonic, but only if Sonic trusts himself, plus super sonic can beat godzilla thermonuclear if he's careful enough, i mean, If normal Sonic can already run at the speed of light, super sonic can go even faster in my opinion
