Congratulations guys.. You made it look so easy!! I’m 87 and we’re looking forward to 2022. I’m a retired pro photographer and your video was beautiful in all aspects.. Bottom line emotion throughout. Continued success. I’m subscribed and TU
@@Bigtrain1 Thank you Jack .. As long as you have it all together above your waist, your good to go.. The limp is a piece cake .. Makes you a great stealth hunter.. If your too close remove your boots .. LOL
Congratulations. You guys earned yourselves a new subscriber. Too bad I’m too disabled to go hunting. My grandfather used to hunt before I was born too bad bc I would loved to go with him not only for hunting, but getting to know him and build a bond lasting a lifetime.
Nice job. Them rag horns eat REAL good. Last year a guy in the camp next to us killed a 7x7 that well on the down hill side of life. Teeth worn off. Gnarly rack. Anyhow, none of us in camp had teeth strong enough to chew the meat.
Your in pines n quakies on the bow hunt life is GRAND remember if you only hunt 1 day every elk hunt your losing countless memories the kill is the end not the fun....
Dude touches the arrow off and immediately goes for the fist bump. lol. Just baffles me how many videos you watch where guys celebrate right after the shot 'i smoked him'. Ummm at that point all you have done is wounded the animal, unless you saw it drop and not get back up you have no idea what you may be in for. Celebrate after you confirm its dead. In this example my first reaction would have been 'oh crap I hit liver/guts'
Just curious on how many elk you have killed? Lung shot on an elk is guts on a deer, we have several double lunged elk shot videos and if you ain’t familiar with elk then you will think they are liver guts. Hug that shoulder like a deer and you are hitting the shoulder blade. Thanks for watching, and if you ain’t got to shoot an elk yet, find the crease and shoot 6” back atleast and make sure it’s mid body. Good luck.
@@UnGuidedOutdoors thats not my point- even if it looks like double lung why start celebrating if you dont see it go down? I've been on hundreds of tracks and have seen plenty of wild stuff that can happen even when a shot looks perfect. There are a million variables when it comes to tracking an animal.
When we shoot an elk and hit them in the lungs, we get excited 😂. Bro you are barking up the wrong tree if you are wanting to see guys not get excited over a good shot. I do however appreciate you watching.
@@UnGuidedOutdoors Ya I mean do as you want but IMO there is still zero reason to celebrate anything until you are standing over a dead animal. Example: I double lunged a deer years ago , great blood trail but it ran straight into a huge tamarack thicket. Would have had to step on it to find it since it was so thick and you couldnt find blood in the moss and hummocks. Didnt find it until the next day and meat was ruined. Thats just one example of why I think one should show some restraint in celebrating anything until you have your hands on it...
Excellent content, gents! Just moved to CO two years ago. Had my first elk hunting experience this year! Excited for the 2022 season!
Nice bull my friend 👏. Good job.

We have talked about doing this, eventually we will probably give it a try.
Fuck yeah congrats! good eating mate
Thanks homie!
You all running mystery ranch.
Yeah that’s what we have had the best luck with so far

Your a smart man most of them are often in one drainage that's why persistent bow hunters kill 90 percent of the elk
Great video I’m glad your back meat in the freezer!!!
Thanks for watching!

You are entitled to your opinion, sorry to hear about your deer. Should have got a dog out there to find it.
