Okay, i have so many thoughts about this song i dont know where to begin, so i'll try to contain myself :) First of all, thank you so much amazing person for this lyric video! Always glad Nell fans like you exist 💙 i remember someone saying that to understand plentifully the beauty of this song, being fluent in Korean is a must, because Nell is know for writing songs in a very...poetic(?) way that is difficult to fully translate. I do not speak korean haha, but the emotions of the song + lyrics get through pretty nicely (proof is me sobbing at the end) (-still wish i understood korean tho) I read the lyrics a couple years back and..somehow forgot it was written in the pov of the person leaving and now im crying (sorry, nell can have this effect on me) i cant help thinking of the people i lost to death and other crappy situations life in this system brings... and for some reason, i cant help but think of my two dogs who are getting old...ahhh I really wish i could speak to jongwan in real life about Afterglow and much more Im forever amazed at how music transmits emotions Anyways, i still cant get my thoughts together, sorry for anyone reading this long unnecessary novel by me :) Lets all support Nell~🌱
