You gotta remember how he grew up, and how namby pamby and politically correct this world has become.

Even if he was prejudice that doesnt make him an evil man.I enjoyed his acting especially in the Real McCoys.

It’s always a bad idea to paint a person’s character from yesterday with today’s brush.

Words of wisdom. Our mistakes and poor choices hones us to be better if we learn anything in the journey. The tragedy is when pride becomes the master of the need to be right. The win paradoxically becomes the loss. For his craft and characters portrayed, Walter touched the human spirit in a unique way that other actor worked to achieve.

Great family man and ledendary actor. Active in Republican politics, no reason for hate.

He had his opinion based on his growing up in that era. He had his values not necessarily evil, only to a leftist viewpoint.

Exactly my thoughts. It was just the general attitude when he was growing up. Although, him being of Irish origins, you’d think he would’ve realized it was dumb.

WE ALL HAVE OUR QUIRKS, NOT TO DISMISS MISTAKES , BUT TO MATURE IN THEM. WALTER WAS GREAT ON THE SCREEN AND TRULY CONTRIBUTED TO HIS CRAFT. TRULY MISS HIM.

Nothing at all evil about this guy. Seems like a great Patriot to me. There is a lot of racial assumptions being spewed here. Telling the truth about what's going on doesn't make you evil, it makes you a realist. We can use more Walter Brennans.

Ultimately, his story prompts viewers to consider how we reconcile the achievements of public figures with the less savory aspects of their character.

His views on LBJ were exact and the end of morality in schools was the end of faith being taught in schools! Terrible listing for a bio.

He wore African masks while going naked at the San Diego Beach Fest, laternight. He ran away from police, calling them names like "yordies" and "mustard" people.
