    Thank you for providing this information. I really liked the video showing the cut away of the water compression tank. I had a problem with mine and had no idea what the blue tank in my mechanical room was for, so your videos saved the day. I was able to buy a new tank and am happy with the results. Many thanks.

    First, permit me to say thanks for taking the time to do these videos! I recently had a well drilled and have a higher than usual iron test result, with NO education from the drilling company, I set out to learn how to "develop" the well. I watched your video on flushing, M1g5-xJZ3UM, it was incredibly helpful!

    If a 300ft well has been dormant since 1996 what all do you expect? Dirty well? Dead pump?
    I know these are probably silly but I don't have alot of help on this side.

    I got some pointers from you videos but I still have a problem I hope you can help me with.
    Background info .. I had my pump replaced 18 months ago. Now my pump will build up enough pressure to shut off the pressure switch one time but when the switch kicks back on it doesn't build enough pressure to shut the switch off and I can hear the pump just run for several minutes then it stops but the contacts on the pressure switch do not open. After a good while the pump will kick on again but still doesn't build enough pressure to open the contacts on the pressure switch. I have to shut off the breaker for a while to get good pressure.
    This problem is the same whether I leave the breaker off for 2 hours or 2 days. The pump is drawing 7.2 Amps.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated, I won't be able to leave power off to the well with winter coming.

    I need to do this to my well, however my pump is above ground and located about 50 ft on a lateral line from well. What would you recommend I do, also my well cap is not serviceable( pvc cap) glued in place, I suppose I can cut and recap when finished. Any guidance would be most appreciated.

    I have a well that rarely gets pumped dry and so pump burns out and I can't afford a new well. I'm thinking changing to the low pressure cut off control switch would keep my pump from burning out...am I right?

      Could be getting air in your line from a break between pump and water source. Odd that your burning motors and not running dry. Unless your at the limit for your pumps effective depth.

      you will need to pump off the amount of water in your well you have treated. This is assuming you have treated it to around a 100 parts per million residual or higher. This is dependent on two things: the amount of water in your well, and the size of the pump in your well

    • @WendellLeeWellServices
      @WendellLeeWellServices  4 года назад +7

      take an educated guess and give it your best shot. It won't hurt to put extra in it, it will take longer to pump the residual off due to a higher concentration of chlorine in the water column
