Great song, hats off to Ian, Joe, John and last but not least David & Scott for such a tight performance, a true delight ... ' A new Tull-Star is born ' !!
Anderson's voice is virtually identical to the studio cut. The entire song.. so tightly performed it could have been ripped from the album! And major kudos to the rhythm section.
Saw them in August '22......excellent performance . Without having heard of the Zealot Gene album this tune really grabbed me from the first guitar riff!!!!Great!!
This isn't really Tull, more Ian's solo band. That said, I really like this tune. One of the better songs Ian has written in recent years and one of best written songs about the Atomic Bomb next to Rush's song Manhattan Project. Once I dug into the lyrics and realized the meaning of the song, it was that much better.
The song itself is good, Ian Anderson has still got a rich songwriting inspiration and works with capable people. All of this somehow hides his obvious vocal limitations, btw he is still great on flute.
I really think it's about time to stop dissing Ian and his vocal range. He smoked in his younger days and he's 75 now and Ian sounds just fine in this song which I rank up there with the best of Tull.
COPD can't stop this man...
Ian is deadass dropping bangers like this until his last breath.
This is one of their best songs. I was blown away when ai first heard it, and they nail it live!

This video is very good. The band sure is tight. Excellent!
Nice job Joe!
exactly like studio version his vocals not certainly not become worse , can go on many more Albums in future
Nice
Not filming the guitarist during a guitar solo should be illegal

Oh dear. I think it is past time that Ian Anderson stopped doing live performances. His voice is clearly not up to it anymore.
It’s not Jethro Tull without Martin Barre. Call it: Ian’s Cover Band.
