If you can find some dimensionally stable non explosive batteries, i'd love to have a solar powered night light cast in resin. With the LEDs angled properly it should light up the whole thing.
I love the wavy disk clock, the texture really works on it! :-) When I first saw your bullet resin cast, I wasn't sure on it, but this vid really shows how awesome it actually is! :-)
Really like the 9mm one, looks great, it’s a shame I was too late to buy it lol. Looking to purchase a clock at some point also! Keep at it but look after yourself. All the best.
do you thing it would be possible to suspend a object in the center using a 2 stage pour? pour a base then let it almost set. place object and pour a second batch. or would it create a seam line?
That is what i do for fully embedded stuff it works with no seem. As i say with the bullet one i purposely let them get sanded down. The new ones will be fully embedded but i might still do the odd one sticking out to be sanded flat.
i bet if you got some funky looking oktoberfest-esq beer mugs, casted some beer looking resin (i'm thinking food colouring?), pubs and bar might snap those up? for decorations, also ideas comes to mind for like "home sweet home" lettering and such, this can span across a bigger audience than the sprocket clocks, i reckon
I think 9mm, 50. AE or 44 magnum would be the most popular as they are very popular in video games etc. Maybe split the casing and projectile and give it an "in flight" look or something? Also, the 9mm resin cube looked really cool.
What if you got a range of ammunition, line them up in height order and then cast them. That would be pretty cool and I'd be willing to donate mine to you as a custom cast that I'd be happy to pay more fpr
I'm surprised you've not included a spicy110 logo or something inside the resin casts. have you thought about getting some diecast coins/pins or simple metal stickers made and using them in a resin cast?
Have considered but not sure how I would do it yet. Thought about 3d printed but at that scale they wouldn't be very smooth nor do I have a printer haha
you need a pressure pot to get rid of air bubbles ..... as for resin i cant remember the names but if you do youtube search of wood turning vids lots of those guys use resins thay all complain about price but hey you gets what you pay for . but im sure if you had a pressure pot even the cheaper resins would work for you . keep going mate your awesome ..... im in southampton next time im around your neck of the woods ile make some noise
30 quid seems a bit steep for the casting on your Etsy when your materials resin and ball bearings + man hours probably total around £20-25 which you can make a fair few castings with.
@@spicy110 you could also put the front sprockets in the resin? It would still be relatively small and you wouldn't need to clean it up because no one is going to get dirty lol
Maybe you should order a wheelchair. Then do a duo vlog, You from your racing wheelchair. Reeno from the pusher part. I can see the humour that will happen then xD
Note things sell fast if you don't see it on my store it has sold! NEW ITEMS ON MY STROE! www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Spicy110MetalWorks
How did you get these in the UK

"I was having shrinkage issues" 😂😂😂
the clocks look great. The bullets have a serious cool factor. Love your work
Have you thought about casting spark plugs in the resin? I think I've got some old ones in the garage- I'll send them to you this week if I find them.
❤️🌈❤️ Came to learn how to cast bullets adore the pyramid and the one with the nuts in it thanks for the inspiration
Fab stuff loving the resin casts. I'm glad that my gift from you was the start of this venture 👍
I've been dying to put bullete in a ashtray and I was so scared to do it ! Thank you so much a

Love the resin castings. If you could get them some 5.56 for an SA80 and 7.62 from the GPMG would be good.

All the best.
I will have more! 🙂
I make scarface ashtrays and inwas using shells worried what would happen adding active rounds. Thank you for this !
No never cast a live round, this are deactivated rounds. Spent primers and no powder.
I'm buying!!! You make awesome gear!

Really like the bullet one and with your creativity I'm sure you can come up with some fantastic castings. I'll keep an eye on what you do :)
The pyramid one is awesome
Excellent work!
Those look insane!
Really like the wavy disk one! 👍
The first clock reminds me of St Andrews Cross. 🏴
Definitely try to do some 50 ae plus maybe a 5.7 x 28 ones I think most calibers will sell well.
Were the bullets live bullets? I’m thinking of doing this, but I’m worry of the heat of the epoxy and primer.
DO NOT USE LIVE AMMUNITION! These are inert rounds no powder and fired primers.
My son's friend has asked me to make a ashtray out of resin with bullets set in the resin, would it be safe to place bullets in resin?
Only inert rounds no live ammunition.
what if i need to get the bullets out quick for a gunfight? haha - nice craft Spicy!!!

And the pyramid, holy shit that is amazing!
Are you using an air vacuum when you cast?
Love the bullets you could put your spicy110 logo in them for paper weights they would sell well

They are only the cases tho opposed to the whole rounds

I'd be leery about sanding live ammo...unless you removed lead, removed powder and then replaced lead.
ah drats missed out on the 9mm. Bloody football games. Might pounce on that pyramid if its still up payday (Thursday)

It's well in line with the market. Also note that price is inc UK shipping.
they look great! would love to see some more of the ammo ones. just bought the 9mm haha. idk if 7.62 would be a possibility but that would be cool.
I saw and I saw the PP thank you so much for the support! Will post Monday!
7.62 x 39? As in the AK47 round?
no problem bro, and cool i look forward to it :D hope your back and leg stay calm btw
i was thinking of 7.62 x 51 nato but idk what prices are and they're pretty similar anyway
Nope that's cool I will have a look 👍

Bought them. See my video about this only a week ago.
Chain links in resin? I'd buy that!
