what happened to the Pudu market? There was a stall that sold the best char siew and siew yoke. Also there was a stall along a lane that sold the best harm cheen pang, yow char kuai in the evenings, where do you get these now? Pudu was the place where my mom did all her shopping and I had many breakfasts there when I was young.

Long time ago, i always venture Jalan Pasar Pudu to get electronic parts. I never knew there are so many good food around. However I love dealing with the business people there as they are typical of the old fashioned mindset Chinese business man. They are trustworthy and sincere. True to their words. However as days goes by they returned and they closed their business. Nowadys there are a lot of foreigners. The landscape have change tremendously.

Heeelp! Looking for recommendations Foodie community I’m currently in KLL been here for two weeks trying many local places, been in many of this food courts with many stahl options Chinese Malay and hindu, also in some restaurants, had big expectations for Malasyan food but so far and I mean no disrespect anyone of course, (in food matters we all know tastes and delights there are many colors, not everything for everyone) the only option I really liked was the Nyonya cuisine the mixture of Chinese and Malay, normally everything is sweet in different levels but almost everything sweet or greasy, some curry is good
, it’s ok in general but where have you found something very good?

This is a good list but there are still some obvious omissions. 168's wantan Mee is ok but it is not the same as Kei Suk where the old man runs out of char siew fort the noodles by 10:30am!
Wong Mei Kee's roast pork is legendary. They trim their roast pork to exact proportion of fat vs lean meat. Lastly Yung Kee beef is a little overrated but still a good place for beef noodles soup.

I think there is a new icc pudu just 2 minutes walk from pudu plaza, my parents bought before the pau stuffed with chicken and shaoxing wine (I think) but not a fancy for me, but my parents do love it, some of the foreigner RUclipsr had introduced the newest icc pudu
