Wow blistering show great talent Nils when off on Hwy61 , as did Bob & bandmates thur this rare piece of time. thankz for posting can't get enough on Bob
John Baldwin wrote about this show: " This was a show where the set-list didn´t matter, the songs didn´t matter. It was all about the performance. Lofgren was beyond phenomenal, but his presence reminded the band what it was all about and most important of all he inspired Dylan to give what was quite possibly his best performance this year." No more word need to be said, but" Thank you Bobminus0"
I saw him in 2003 and he was playing guitar all through the concert. This must be one of the first concerts where he plays keyboard. Very impressive sound. The band just rocks. The arrangements are incredible. A pity not many of the so-called 'never ending tour' concerts have been professionally filmed. All the more reasons to value these bootlegger's efforts. Godspeed to them, even Bob acknowledged their efforts on Sugar Baby, the closing song on Love and Theft. "Some of these bootleggers, they make pretty good stuff/ Plenty of places to hide things here if you wanna hide 'em bad enough."

What a SMOKING show, esp. after Nils Lofgren started cranking it up on the guitar, he really got Bob hopped up and rocking...WOW !!!:-) Thanks for the post !!!
WOW....im not a sylvio fan but if u seen him enough live, u could tell RIGHT AWAY that BOB was on n it was gonna b great show....unrreal harp...great upload.....
WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Bob Dylan looks HOT in red! Great shot of him in action on the keyboard, love the Dead tune. Everything about this video is great. He really tears it up on the keyboards! One thing I would have done differently: kept the tightest FS on him and locked down the camera, forget about all those zooms and pans. It really is a lesson on how to play rock n roll piano. :) I thank you.
Steady beat nicely.. straight Rockin’ grand guitars for ‘Silvio’.. Got it Rollin’ 💃🕺👌🌹Rockin’ even more❣️Third great guitarman Nils Lofgren? Beauty guitarwork💫👌and Tony, Larry (mandolin?) in ‘Tweedledoo and Tweedledee’ and in ‘It aint me Babe’ grandioso with Dylans organ/harrrrppp and Singing🌺❤️🌹🌞👌Go melt back into the night babe... haaarrrrrppppppppp ‘Things have Changed’ Cos times àre Strange... yep! My favorite!🌷 🎶 Concert Total🎶
This appears to be the Hammerstein Ballroom, NYC on Aug 12, 2003. Love the opener/he comes right of the box with tremendous energy in his voice. He sounds "pumped" - as he always seems to be when playing NYC.
sry...Nils Lofgren, of course! Seemed to be really a "Rock-Concert"! I Saw Bob last week in Berlin! The greatest concert ever from him! In german newspapers they said it was like a church service! And: it was!!

We were at the rail for this one and some younger kid who was a Dylan obsessive kept yelling, "Who dressed this man....Who dressed this man?""""" Thanks for the upload!!!
Anybody notice how Neils is cued to come out perfectly on the lyric "any minute now im expecting all hell to break loose.". Enough to bust the brains out of the hammerstein ballroom this night.
My direct memories of this show were dylan having an annoyed look on his face with the proceedings until Nils appeared then the show kicked into overdrive
Great show- I had the pleasure of being punched in the face stage left right in front of Dylan by some a$$hole who was trying to mark his territory. Bob was really into it at this show, awesome stuff
