ugh, i love that man so much. So much of my life's sound track is just this band
Who doesn't enjoy The King is Dead? Absolutely solid album through and through.
Bands or artists that are pretty well known, but not huge in the mainstream seem to always have one album that their DieHard fanbase rips on. I was just talking to a friend the other day about how much I enjoyed good news for people who love bad news by modest mouse, and then she started going on about how it was their sellout album. I was like sorry I couldn't waddle my six-year-old self to the vinyl store to listen to the moon and Antarctica
I remember hearing that the “King is Dead” did so well that it was an available album on airlines & flights. When flying on a plane, it was a provided track list
Very enjoyable. Thanks.
The Decemberists' music can be so uplifting at one moment only to become unnerving in the next. Listen to Billy Liar and Cutting Stone back to back.
What's wrong with Touch of Grey?
