Due to recent changes to sonic wave, it now shares a cooldown with greater concentrated blast and therefore should be replaced with wrack instead in the rotations. Never use sonic wave as greater conc blast will always be better : ).
Wow, what a clear and concise guide! So much packed in to a short and understandable video!! Loving the content you guys are putting out, keep up the good work!!
I've stayed away from most combat activities while I max/comp my HCIM, so I've been out of the loop on so much that I haven't had the time to learn and understand. Your quick guide on this has been very informative!
It's funny how high end rs3 rotations are the hardest of any mmo out there ^^'. Maybe do an ui and manual rotation guide for swaps and all the things you need to handle (intentory, prayer, summon stuffs) as well.
Great guide. For longer boss fights, what is recommended for your next sun rotation if adren pot/limitless are on cd? Just build up with basics until either enough crits to get it going or 50% for tendrils?
With the recent fsoa changes, you can just activate the spec and use dual wields for the rest of the rotation. There is no way to use the fsoa without greater concentrated blast unfortunately.
@@kroberts88kr An fsoa is indeed worth, even if you camp dual wields. You can get away with cywir while just using it for the spec and still have a higher dps than camping fsoa.
I do exactly this with bis gear and i just cant get the crit stick to pop off… best was a 7 minute kerapac hm solo… but with bolt bis gear i got a 5 min solo with no sweat at all
This is just a general rotation which is not optimal for all bosses. For example kerapac's timewarp ability can be used to cheat out an extra wild magic and asphyxiate every rotation, as well as start sunshine with 100% adren. For specific boss rotation we would recommend to visit the pvme discord.
I have 1 question ive been using it for so long, but i want to know if theres a way to throw meta into sun rotation in any crazy stoopid way while not messing up the standard rotation too much?
Metamorph and sunshine share a cooldown and don't stack, so you can only use one or another. Usually sunshine should be prioritized since it lasts a lot longer, but in edge scenarios such as the final phase of Solak where the full duration of sunshine would be wasted, metamorph can be used over sunshine due to it's higher damage boost.
Unless you need a lot of burst damage such as p7 zammy or the last phase of solak, the damage loss from building up stormshards rather than casting abilities is not worth.
Yes the fsoa spec works when you swap off to dual wield, but it will fire dw autos rather than 2h autos. Its still worth to do with gconc since it hits 3x and has a very high critchance.
We would suggest even downgrading to cywir and getting an fsoa earlier. Dual wields are basically only used for gconc, which represents a small % of your total damage. As for t92 dual wields, keep them as your last magic upgrade. The damage increase from them is negligible.
@@thebusterbunch good to know! i've been stuck trying to figure out what to upgrade next but maybe thats what i should go for then. Currently got seismics, cryptbloom, jas book, eof, reaver ring, cinderbanes/kerapac's ww
this video is what i needed lol, should i sell my blightbound (800M) and rsh (3.2B) + my 2B cash to buy = fsoa + cryptro + eof abs? = 5500M? ( i sill keep eof with sgb in bank for when ranged is good again )
You can use Helywr wand and orb for gcong. It’s not the damage you worry about, only the effect of crits buff. Not the best choice on selling one combat set to get another combat set, but mage is super chill. And you can afk most of the bosses in rs.
Magic is definitely a good investment as it is by far the best style in the current meta for damage output and survivability, but I would not advise crypt unless you're going to use it for hardmode zuk or basing raids/aod. And camping an fsoa is a huge damage loss due to the lack of gconc, so get a pair of cywir dual wields as well.

This guide will help me a lot, ty
God tier guide. Thank you👍

Your quick guide on this has been very informative!
I’m very new to deep diving rs3 combat but I’m really enjoying these videos. Slowly but surely I’m learning. Thank you
Pretty nice guide
Excellent guides! Love your commentary
Such a good guide, definitely breaks it all down. Perfecto! 👌🏼
Damn pup said nice video. Big gz.
that thumbnail goes hard
gotta love how simple you make it =3
Best FSOA guide on youtube!!

Range guide with bolg?
damnn such a good guide gj
Any chance we could get a BOTLG guide as well?
Bolg guide is in production, stay tuned!

wiki says you lose the crit chance from gconc if you swap to your mainhand, is this proven or nah?
poggers
Could you do a good key bind guide in reference to magic?
Just picked up mage gear/fsoa and my keybinds are a Cluster fk
Is there a newbie way to use fsoa and just camp it? =D what do you recommend?

@@thebusterbunch thank you for the reply. That's a shame to hear. Greater conc + dual wields are stronger then. Is it even worth buying?

is regular wrack prioritized more than combust now?
No, it just replaces sonic wave now.
Would it be a good idea to also use storm shard before fsoa then shatter during since shatter is a guaranteed crit

you forgot inving 4 on armour (does not matter mouch if crits go brr but on dry it does add a abs in rotation)
Invigorate 4 was mentioned in our Intro to Magic Guide where we covered armor perks, but thank you for your feedback
So wait when you fsoa spec and swpa to dw to g con does the staff spec still poc on gcon??? I did t know that pls confirm
