Everyone’s question and doubts is to understand in a simple way, Which is better Motul 7100 10W40 or Petronas Sprinta Z900 for the performance oriented machines ?? 😊
I'm using motul 7100 for over 5 years now on my honda cb hornet 160.....i liked this oil for its cold start and super slick gear shifts....but what i found is motul usually vaporise mich quicker than oils like Amsoil, liquimoly and all
Please do test on amsoil engine oil u have already used amsoil but the lab test is missing,, amsoil is known for king of synthetic in car's engine oil, in youtube engine oil championship test on a popular English channel,, i want to know is that same for motorcycle catagory?
Awesome! Please test and review the AMSOIL 15w50 Metric oil. It feels super smooth and better gear shifts on RR310, feels good till 8000kms. Best I have tried till date. I haven't tried Petronas though.
Using the Petronas TVS Tru4 Pro 15W-50 on my BS6 RTR200 4V. I'm guessing it's the same F900 Sprinta packaged into 1.2 and 1.7L bottles for TVS. Engine, clutch and gearbox has become smooth. Valve noise in traffic due to heating has reduced considerably. Plus it's not reducing the mileage like Motul 7100 did. 1.7L for 1750 INR, absolutely worth it.
I once purchased f900 for 750₹ online and now price is very inflated. Try your luck and at that price but 300v isn't coming down either right it sells around 900+/- if I'm not wrong
Hi, I want to share experience about Castrol Activ 20w40 as well as the myth about changing oil at 2000 km. Overall: Not good The only reason behind this is low flash point of 185 C. Whereas any engine oil of flash point below 200 C is poison for engine. Now, most of the mechanic use Castrol Activ 20w40 and also, for 2 wheeler engine oil market share for Castrol, its Activ 20w40 covers the majority part. So, due to low flash point, the oil starts degrading after 1500 kms and at 2000 km, 100-200 ml is consumed and after 2000 km, it becomes worst as the flash point is lowered down further. That's why most of the mechanics say to change oil before 2000 km, but that is not completely true. If the oil has all the parameters at good level (like TBN > 5, flash point > 210 C), then even a mineral oil can survive around 4000-5000 kms. Provided below conditions are followed: 1. Ignition is perfect 2. Air filter is always clean 3. Engine fins and oil sump bottom is always clean and there is no dirt or dust deposition. 4. Ridden mostly on highway at top gear with least rpms 5. If one can increase the viscosity of current oil then expect an additional 20% improvement (by top up with higher viscosity grade oil). 7. The bike should be ridden 2 times a day. 8. Those kms must be completed in 3-4 months. (Once, 50% of the time exceeds, don't expect excellent performance by the oil) Otherwise, the oil life will be reduced from 5000 km to 1500 km. Personally, I have stretched Bajaj Dtsi 10w30 (20w30) in my Platina 110 to 7000 kms (by top up with same oil and Castrol Activ 20w40), but during 6000-7000 kms I was able to feel the oil is quite degraded.
I need your suggestion bro I am planning to upgrade my motorcycle at present I am using Pulsar RS BS3, whether I can go with 250N or 400Z ? Also my application is mostly commuting in the city and sometimes long rides and the oil cooled engine is suitable for long rides

Did 2400 kms from Delhi NCR to Bangaluru in 40 hours (28 hours riding + 12 hour rest, stops, breaks and filling) day before yesterday.... On R15 V3 abs and used PETRONAS 900 FULLY SYNTHETIC FOR ENTIRE 2370 KMS.
no problem. you can change how many times your engine oil without flushing. i never do flushing in all my motorcycle since i got my first bike in 2007 and i always changed my oil type & brand. sometimes i used semi and sometimes i fully. in 2020 i bought SYM VF3I. Chinese brand motorcycle. i think i used more than 8 engine oil brand since i got my vf3i.
Having a price difference of 200₹ f900 would be my pick if I choose to drain the oil early around 5000kms, if your vehicle burns little to no oil and operates at normal temperature then go for 300v for 5000-6000kms
