I like that you used the charged up Splash Laser. It chips down his health real fast. None of the weakness charts say that the Splash Laser is real effective on him. I thought most of the weapons on the bosses were useless. Even though the right weapon will stun them, they'll do little damage.
I understood the first phase after watching a bit. X damages him when he phases in to the background, zero for when he returns to the stage to hard knockdown/reset him and keep rinsing and repeating. I might try this
Yo you did amazing! Sometimes he randomly just comes flying at you and punches you and sometimes it can knock you off the stage (salt). Also I saw in another video what you were doing with zero and the green energy balls I never knew he could I do that. When I played X7 on the legacy collection it wasn’t nearly as painful as when I was younger and I ain’t know what I was doing and I would randomly try to avoid him and fall off the stage. Also the water gun op never seen it used like that 😮

@@Ph4ntom0 you’re welcome. The newcomer Axl is useless as hell. All he does is give you a thumb workout (mashing square in boss battles). Also X charge shot in this game is busted. The only other special attack I would occasionally use is zero with the thunder tornado.
@@lamarpray5324 Axl is actually good when you have his Grenade Launcher weapon from The Kangaroo boss. Otherwise he's useless. In a speedrun that's the first boss you should defeat imo.
Really both phases are a joke. You can just V-hanger the crap out of his first form, and second form just hide by the rock in the upper left corner and spam regular shots.
This game has such bizzare Peaks and Valleys. The Beginning absolutely drags. Get a few damage upgrades and it starts getting alright and then the Sigma stages show up and tank the final experience

@@earlduran6419 Playing X7 you'll get used to Sigma using that attack. I played as X and Axl as a child when playing so the double jump from Zero was a Godsend
Ah yeah Axl is nice to use for most missions when you gt the G-Launcher, but overall X is highly broken in this game, his semi charged shot does as much damage as the G launcher's shots.. as well as Splash laser's charged attack basically making the game a walk in the park with the insane amount of damage it does. Gokumonken & Gaea Shield is Sigma's weakness, but Splash Laser charged does far more DMG

PhantomPlays Yeah, I know. I like this game, it has flaws, but it's not horrible at all. My favorites X games are MMX4 and MMX8! They're the best!
