Fun fact: there are vastly more people creating, publishing and distributing music of every conceivable kind now than ever before. Statistically you are far more likely to find absolute music gems in your favorite genres now than in say, 1984. You'll never be 18 again but you are most definitely still floating in a sea of new music waiting for you to listen to it.

Jefferson starship is probably the most underrated group of all time. What other group had three great lead singers? Grace Marty and Mickey. These videos were nuts, but great music

A magical ten years that can never be copied. I remember growing up as a teen in this decade thinking what a special feel it had to it. By late 1989 everything was fading away....clothes....hair...cars and music. Then it was gone. I know many people loved the 90s and thought they were better. I whole heartedly disagree. @@T2tac 100 percent...remember this was on regular rotation on MTV, I was 14..a high school freshman.....I find it difficult to listen to these songs from the standpoint that, then, we had our whole lives in front of us....now at 51, if averages hold true, I have about 23 years left as opposed to 60 years....growing up in a small town working at the local Cafe washing dishes and jamming this tune on the jukebox after the Cafe closed while mopping the floors...damn

I remember sitting in the living room in front of the TV at Grandma's house playing with Legos the first time I heard this song. Man, good times. Everyone I loved were still alive and I was young and happy. Wish I could go back and live it again.

Man, I had a bunch of Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship albums on 8-track tapes, just not Nuclear Furniture, don't think it came out on 8-track. Vinyl, cassettes, 8-tracks, and reel-to-reel tapes, I miss the Hell out of those days.
