  • In this video I show you another method to integrate a second color in the middle of a row, if you have to add a spot of color !
    This technique is used on my Shéhérazade pattern you can find on my Ravelry store : www.ravelry.co...
    Happy crocheting !

    Hi from Brazil! ❤ Thank you for sharing your crochet! Please, keeping making your video and speaking English. French is so charming language but unfortunately I've never learnt it!

    I can understand every word. Well done. Please make a lot more videos.
    This rug is a real work of art and would look amazing hung from a piece of wooden dowling on a feature wall in a company entrance/reception area.

    Absolutely stunningly beautiful! Love the English tutorial, since I do not speak French (which it’s a fascinating and beautiful language and wished I did speak it, because I have always love how beautiful it sounds)! But, your mosaic work is stunning! Thank you for your great explanation and tutorial! I have subscribed with notifications to your channel!

    Thank you so much for doing this in English--I watched one of your earlier tutes and believe I understand just by watching the technique but the comments are so helpful.

    Dear Gaëlle thank you for this great video!! I made a blanket a while ago using the Tapestry method and I found it difficult but after watching your video it gave me courage to start making your blanket after a year!! I did not know there was a English version of the tutorial!! I just love your designs!! Kind regards 🥰🧶🌻

      Thank you so much Paula ! The tips with Tapestry mosaic is "do not make it more difficult than it has to be!".
      Simply add your color when its needed, block it behind your Sc and if you dont have SC, let it and block it with the SC the row after 😉

    The only problem with intergrading or weave the ends in is when there is a mistake and you have to remove the yarn.

    Such a beautiful and unique design! Loved it. What yarns are to be used for rugs. Here we never get such yarns. Get mainly acrylic. Would that work?

    • @justeunpetitpoint
      @justeunpetitpoint  3 года назад

      it's acrylic here but it's use a wall-hanging. You can use it for a rug with a non-slip fabric underneath but for sure if you think walk on it often I'm not sure of the result after some month...

    Wow! One of the most beautiful patterns that I have ever came across. Your explanation is very clear.
    I have a question, since there are many yarn rows one on top of the other, then my understanding is, that the yarn should be thin, like DK (number 3) or even fine (number 2) yarn.

    • @justeunpetitpoint
      @justeunpetitpoint  3 года назад

      Yes I always use DK yarn with a 3mm hook. Also because you have more color choice in France with DK yarn :) !

  • @elainef.rogers2148
    @elainef.rogers2148 2 года назад

    Will the yarn threads not come loose?

    • @justeunpetitpoint
      @justeunpetitpoint  2 года назад

      Not as they are attached at the beginning and the end of each row if you decide to work on the full row and if you include it in the middle of the row you will weave it into two row as you will do when you weave your ends
