What I love about close quarters is that Arc Torrents and Shotguns can wipe out several weakened Mechs caught together.
All you need to do is get close enough and even a proper aim is not required.

The best counter to Zephyr+arc torrents are Missile racks. Just need to be quick enough in that narrow space and alpha strike will do the rest

Funny how the only con is the range but pilots fix that so its a perfect weapon

I love combining the Killshot with 2 shotguns, it makes a very powerful mech.
From my point of view, I think close quarter weapons are better for ambushing enemy mechs, with their small range and ammo, they don't work well in an open battlefield.
Right now, I'm trying to get Arc Torrent 6 to deal more damage. The less time I stay in a fight, the better
I run with killshot and sg8s to take down mortar mechs. It is so hard to reach the other side on the open map but when I do they are dead.
That truly is a powerful combo! 🔥

I’ve always loved the destructive power of arc torrents. Aka the bug zapper
Panther is also a good mech to pair with shotguns or arc torrents because. U can use ur shield to get close without receiving any damage. And it'll be hard for ur opponent to make it to the other side of the barrier because of he stasis affect. Therefore giving u just enough time to melt their hp.
Ares, Brickhouse, Surge and Zephyr are the best mechs for this. The first two can tank damage and the last two and apply control effects and render enemies useless

My favourite weapon is the shotgun. Very high damage output and implant and g-lock give them a humungous boost of damage and i would like to see lotus as the legendary close quarters pilot. Mech arena keep it up!!!

I think killshot is the best mech for arc torrent, while the arc torrent is reloading, melee dash the enemy.
I loved this category because it need some nice skills to handle this type weapons perfectly.

Hello there Devs, i have an idea to make the Legendary skins of mechs more fun to use. You can make the skins have a special effect on the abilities of the mechs, for example: the Unicorn skin from lancer have a rainbow trail on its ability, the Raptor skin from zephyr have a Roar sound or sound wave with its ability, the Astronaut skin from brickhouse have planets that will be circling brickhouse when ability is active, the Gingerbread skin from stalker have an aura of snowflakes or snow when ability is active and etc.
This will make the legendary skins of the mech more fun, have a more good look and makes the skins worth getting

The arc torrent with kill shot makes it a godly combo as you can easily melee dash lone players and for multiple ones you can use your melee dash to get close and get rid of one and use chain shocking on the others. Also kill shots ability of melee dash takes only 4-5 seconds to recharge and arc torrent is technically a beam even though it’s not shown also it isn’t written that the arc torrent reloads on its own if it’s Magazine has some ammo which is the case for beams as beams do the same thing
I also use arcs torrents with kill shots. An excellent combo
I would prefer your choice and try some very long range weapons too
There’s a solution to the problem listed at 3:00.
You can just upgrade an arc torrent range implant. It doesn’t have to be even epic or legendary… a maxed out rare range increase implant can extend the range to 50m.
For 6 star arc 10 , it's actually 61m

I've only used arc torrents during the specialisation events. I get a lot of misfire - pushing the button and nothing spits out, but somehow the energy still drains.
I've been killed by them a lot though - obviously there is a knack to working with them.
I didn't know their range expands as they level. maybe those attacks from 80 were genuine, and not cheating.
Arcs + Brickhouse = Crazy Combination
The brick house would melt from lead and missiles before reaching their intended target,
Tbh surge can easily equip the short and deadly arsenal
The storm dash ability of surge allows to trap not only 1 mech, and would easily 1 hit the enemy behind its back

I love arc torrent because of the shock effect it's nearly hard to shoot down me and annoys my opponent, in just a single match you can get godlike if you use these in killshot, surge and slingshot, my personal favorite.
Its kind of being a runner tbh
i use arc torrents on killshot, and i use some implants that can get the torrents range to almost am em rifle range lol
Arc on a zephyr is insane. I've used it for a long time and it just wrecks. Quad kills are pretty easy to get
On a good Orion it is even better

Normally I usually pair Arc torrent with a Mini gun. High damage from the Mini gun. Plus the shock ability from the Arc torrent. And I pair them with Guardian.

Love this. This is the first game where I've really enjoyed flanking and assassinating people from close range
Btw got to long javelin racks six works fine shoot first then then the other one and a melee dash finish them off
Don’t you know that panther with arc torrents are almost unstoppable, it’s because you can simply use the static barrier and then u can’t die while in a matter of a few seconds, the enemy gets destroyed and the speed of death helps the static barrier make u unkillable
Only played for 2 months but I love this game and there’s always challenges or something to do to earn rewards 🤟🏼

Weapon = ARC Torrent 6 buyed today 😊
My top mech used to be arachnos and now that i put a shot gun 4 and a shot gun 8 on my kill shot it is now my top mech i use jester melee dash distance and shot gun damage it can 2 shot an arachnos if you combine it with a melee dash

I saw some mech arena youtubers open the event crate rush and they got arc 12 on their 14th or 15th spin they used around 4500 a-coins
At the same time, we saw lots of players who got their Arcs on their very first spin! 😉

Close Quarters may be close range but they make up for it with high damage with one single magazine! In fact It could kill any mid game mech! Unless it is a tank with its ability activated! I really love Ares with Arc Torrents!

This type of weapons are OP because because the only cons is the lack of range which can be increased by a lot with highly upgraded Epic or legendary implants.
I mean before we needed to spin the vent crate rush 10 times to get everything but now we need to spin the event crate rush 20 times to get everything

I just spent 5700 a coins to get arcs 12, personally planning on using it on panther since stasis barrier ensures my enemies can't fight back, and I can use stasis barrier to get close to the enemy without taking damage.

The Arc Torrents are real cool to play with, pretty suit on my Ares! My pilot also has a well-upgraded range implant which makes me feel so comfortable when I'm using Arc Torrents, feels like the electricity is dancing!😆

@@MechArenaOfficial yup, I was temporarily using Arc Torrent 6s on Zephyr though(because the events ask me to do so lol), I'll save up a lot of money to upgrade stuffs then buy the Arc Torrent 10 to equip for my Guardian(AT10 + 6), but that means it is somewhat quite not suit since low range ability >< quite far range Arc Torrents🤔
