To actually understand this song you actually have to about some of the background of BLACKPINK. With a lot of popularity comes a lot of hate and basically the video goes through their discography and let the haters know that you can criticize them all they want but everytime they end up on top. The video was one of their most expensive ones to make because almost every scene was recreated from one of their older videos. The opening scene is a recreation from "Playing With Fire." The next scene with them in the car is from "Boombayah." The tank is from "DDO DU DDU DU." Then Lisa sitting on the bags on the truck is from "Boombayah". Lisa with the dog is actually from another YG group before BLACKPINK, 2NE1 from the song "I Am the Best." Jisoo with the umbrella is from "DDU DU DDU DU." Rosé sitting on the globe is from "Whistle." Then the scene with Jennie in the bathtub is from "Playing with Fire" and there is a heart jewel box on the table from "Kill This Love." Lisa standing on the dock is from "Playing with Fire" and the katana is from "DDU DU DDU DU." There is so much more easter eggs in the video.
The one thing is that it really is more of a message to their haters. Rosé said it all with the last line of the song, "Keep talking, we shut you down." It wasn't my favorite at first because it is not the "black" side of their music but it isn't the "pink" side either. I guess it is their "black" side just because the lyrics is kind of savage.

Actually it should be pronounced Gee•sue not G•so. You can hear her say it herself in several video this way.

Stay doesn't get the love it should.
This song is actually a MEGA flex - the M/V, as several have pointed out, is almost entirely updates on their previous work, as are many of the signs and 'set dressings', and the slamming the doors represents that being what they've done, and getting into the lift going up to the next, untouched, floor with all those doors is letting their critics know that they've only just started and they've a lot more storage to fill.
You will love them even more when you transition to their Live performances
