This did NOT happen, there is absolutely no historical evidence that would suggest that Maria Theresa was unfaithful in her marriage, or that she was particularly close to András Hadik. They were just queen and commander, nothing else, not even friends or anything like that.
@@calliefinck6275 It's not the same, not nearly. There were and have been clearly many gossips about MA and Fersen, and there has never been any about MT and Hadik. MA and Fersen were certainly on very good terms, friends at least, with great affection, while there is absolutely nothing like that in MT's case, she and Hadik were not even on particularly good terms, nothing more than professional, monarch and commander. And then there are those coded love letter between MA and Fersen... one of the most beautiful love letters ever written on this earth. There are ofc nothing like that in MT's cass. She wrote love letters to and received love letters from exactly one person, her husband.
I don’t think she and Fersen had an affair though, especially since when Marie Antoinette was living in a place with no secrecy or privacy. What do you think?
@@calliefinck6275 I don't know. They certainly loved each other very much, but it is possible that their love remained platonic. I don't think that they could not keep that in secret though, just because they lived in a palace. MA lived relatively freely in the Trianon palace, without Louis. And maybe they could not keep it in secret well, and that is why the gossips started and that is why we are speaking about it right now? Who knows.
Good question. I think it was completely unnecessary. I guess this is the good old cheap way to "spice things up" and add more drama? It really made no sense.
him standing there behind the door all this time is hilarious to me ngl 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just like there’s no concrete evidence of Marie and fersen

Lili, could you please pin your comment so it's the first one viewers read? This part of the TV series is NOT historically accurate at all.

So this explains why Hadikgasse is such an important street in Vienna!
No, not at all, things like this never happened
Why the producer of writers put this in the series?

Can you add the new Marie Antoinette show in English for the next vote

Is this really happened? Did they sleep together in real life?

No . There is no evidence that this ever happened…
