There are underwater live cams in North Carolina where you can watch sharks in real time. Mostly tiger sharks, mostly in groups of 3 or 4, sometimes more. They seem to congregate to be able to "rest" ("sleep"). Most shark species are just food for other shark species, it very much looks like tiger sharks are at one of the bottom rungs of the ladder and to protect themselves from the bigger guys, the femals gather in groups. So "gang" really is not a fitting word at all.
"touch grass" is not an insult towards gamers, rather it is advice for them. When participating in intense periods of gaming, the human hand has a tendency to get sweaty. The sweat causes the hand to become slick, and it b becomes more difficult to retain a grip on the gamers gaming mouse, thus making it more difficult to perform well in intense gaming moments. By touching grass with the gamers hand, the grass will impart a layer of particulate onto the gamers hand, the particulate can be made of a variety of dusts, dirts and other natural matter. This particulate will then act in a similar form to climbers chalk, absorbing the sweat and drying out the gamers hand. With dry hands, the gamer can now perform to their maximum when gaming. This is why when an enemy or teammate tells you to touch grass, they are simply trying to assist you in performing better.
@@AfifRayz Sharks are fish and travel in schools. Regard the large schools of Hammerheads and reef sharks-they're not referred to as gangs of Hammerheads or gangs of reef sharks. But in this case, they have chosen to use a slang expression, which is perfectly alright, as a "gang of sand sharks". Sorry, but I will not be able to reply to this conversation anymore, have a nice day.
What an absolute waste of time! Should have stayed in the corporate world and leave the sharks be! They’ve been getting on fine for millions of years without human interference.
Very brave of her and production getting close enough to film those cool sharks. I believe the word "gangs" in the title should be replaced with cliques 😅
Like the everglades are nursery's for certain species of fish. Maybe the ship wrecks are nursery's for sand tiger sharks??? Mmm, mmm, hmmm!!! 😏😑!!! Food for thought???
I don’t know sharks too good but I think there all together protect each other babies or the babies to protect each other or many to protect each other from killer whales

next they'll say sharks are feminists. Animal instinct boils down to 3 things: eating, fleeing and breeding. Stick to the fundamentals and you'll success in finding an answer to this "mystery".
But, humans are also animals, and while your words are true and we also follow those instincts, they present much more complexly. So why can the same not be said for sharks? Behavior is like a tree, instinct is the trunk and behavior is all the resulting branches
So it’s a pregnant mothers support group on Facebook, basically.

In Australia they’re called grey nurse sharks in South Africa they’re called ragtooth sharks
In Ireland they're called Jeffrey.
Sounds more like a family or mother club than a gang.
Sharks are the best!
Several hole-head trolls are in the comments.
Sand tiger sharks, taking their photographs is really amazing. Girl gang😍

Exactly! It's kind of obvious they are probably congregating at the wrecks to eat the abundant food sources coming and going.
