I actually credit Ethan's transformation for saving my life I was 127.8kg in May since then ive gotten down to 101.6kg or there abouts. Seeing this now with Kon will hopefully spur me on to get down to under 100 by Christmas my goal in June was to get to 95kg by Christmas a weight ive not been since I was 15 (im 31 now) keep up the great work Reev and Kon
Execllent work reev and i have watch kon tranformation of the body even since day 1 well done kon on that weight loss jounrey and reev keep up the good work on the fitness channel mate
This is simply inspiring. Currently injured with a broken laprum inferior (shoulder issue) but cant wait to start my rehab and get back in the gym with vids like this
i started at 150 kg 3 years ago today i am 87 kg and living life ! Love that i found heavy bag boxing training and that i started 2 make training fun 4 me and having fun while training makes a huge diffrence gr8 video Reev u are a monster.. Kon and Ethans transformations is insane! Gr8 vid
Reev you’ve been absolutely killing it lately man keep it up, and Kon has really inspired me, even more than Ethan has just because he’s a lot more relatable. But for me going from 57kg at 15 to 84kg at 17/18 and being 97.5kg at 20 (now 93.5kg at 20.5) fighting numerous health issues has been really tough when i know i should be 82-85kg. Seeing such motivation from Reev and inspiration from Kon has just been the main thing for me lately. Great vid guys🕺
Really enjoying the fitness content Reev. As someone who is not only looking to improve/develop at the gym, but also improve other fitness areas through running etc, you are certainly someone to look up to.
Big up kon I have gone from 115kg to 77.5 in the past 18 months after nearly dying from heart problems and having a pace maker fitted can’t beat the feeling of actually getting in shape proud of you mate .
All of these transformations are incredible but the one thing they never mention is that it’s so expensive to keep up with from food prices to gym memberships and it’s time consuming even just tracking the macros. Obviously they’re worth it for your health and fitness but they’re made to look so easy in videos, nobody ever really properly touches on the difficulties of them
It’s actually probably easier to bulk buy shopping and being disciplined than spending money on expensive fast food alternatives, just requires a larger time investment, unless of course in some cases you can afford meal prep services, in which case you are right my friend! Can’t ever put a price on health though, single most universally important thing
@@reev Bulk shopping is much easier and discipline is huge when it comes to health and fitness. I agree that fitness is so important and there are a plethora of benefits. Thank you for the reply
Hey Reev loving the workout videos! Would be really great to see the actual sets/ reps you are doing with these guys. Either in the bio of the video or even at points within the video, that way we can transfer them better into our own routines! Keep up the great work man!
I genuinely love the fitness content I’m trying to get into my own fitness journey but it’s been hard staying consistent with school as well getting busy.
Just watched the first 3 mins and I am already out of breath lol, all I need to start doing stuff like that to really get the blood flowing, (the way I lost my weight was diet change and walking 5km a day every day for 6 months) before I started I was drinking 40 cans of soft drinks (not going to name brand) a week, 10 big mugs of tea a day with 1 1/2 spoons of sugar, 24 packs of crisps and kebabs and pizza alternating days from mid November to March while also staying bed bound for 99% of the day. Since May I cut out soft drinks, crisps and tea and all caffeine products replaced with fruit, cereal and water and have home cooked meals
i feel like Kon is similar thinking like me :D when i lost my weight it was the same way... i motivated myself or the ''the goal'' was the motivation... honestly didnt have end goal i went from 106 to 80 and normalized around 83-85(stayed like that for around 1.5year) but there was a bad winter and covid time and currently more stuff and im back to being heavy.. good thing im 6'2 but eventually ill have to deal with this, but not atm.. i have other things to figure out first, which may sound odd but thats life
There are plenty out there if you want. Would highly recommend Renaissance Periodisation. The bottom line is that cardio is an extremely good tool for physical and mental health, and amazing for your cardiovascular system. It isn't on its own, however, a great fat loss tool. Cardio (particularly higher intensity cardio) will spike your appetite. It also doesn't burn nearly as many calories as most machines (e.g. treadmills, stationary bikes, or even fitness watches) will tell you it does, so it can make it difficult to track your calorie deficit properly. The best balance for health and longevity is around 150-200 minutes of Zone 2 cardio (which is an effort which is quite easy, you should be able to hold a conversation while doing it) and at least one high intensity interval form of cardio (e.g. 4 x 3-4 minute all out efforts) in whatever modality you prefer. Running is great for all of these but stationary bikes can be good too, rowing is good to mix it up, elliptical is less harsh on the joints than running. TLDR - do a bit of cardio because it's amazing, but still prioritise your diet, sleep, and at least 3 weights sessions per week. However, don't believe this if you don't want to. I'd recommend the following creators if depending on your goals: - General health and longevity with some good info on fat loss - Peter Attia, Andrew Huberman (both have videos outlining an exact programme for people who just want to generally be healthy) - Bodybuilding and science-based tools for gaining muscle and losing fat - Renaissance Periodisation (Dr Mike). - Pure fat loss (i.e. not as focused on general health and physique) - Mario Tomic.
Lift weights and eat sufficient protein alongside the other habits you maintained when losing weight (plenty of sleep & water etc) but in a calorie surplus! (Eat more than burning)
legend, thanks so much 🙏 edit: ended up being hard to source in australia. but your recommendation gave me a good starting point. ended up ordering a “rogue ohio” powerlift bar which seems like it should do the job 👌

Its a great feeling when your friends and family start to notice your hard work. Im nearly 20kg down over a year.
This is some of my favourite content on youtube at the moment. Great showing the different fitness journeys like Kon's and Vik's.
2 legends linking up - the content we needed. Loving the fitness content from you both 🙌🏽
the content you are putting out Reev is incredible, picked up many amazing tips from your videos for my own journey, mad love for you.

4x8-10 for bench we did, nothing crazy to be fair, warm up set prior
Keep it coming Reev, loving this content especially the collabs!

This video motivates me to try and lose even more weight eventhough I have a torn meniscus (I was 143kg last June and I'm currently at 100kg)
My transformation hasn't been really as crazy, but i went from 98 ish kg down to my current 85kg. At 19 years old
Incredible stuff

Try the “I trained like ksi for a day” boxing video. It sounds good
great collab
Would love to see a full cardio for fatloss video

@@khanager2814great advice. There are so many accounts posting useless information it took me ages to actually find the good ones
Couldn’t have summarised this better myself haha
@@reev Keep up the good work mate you're a legend!
I started my fitness journey at a very similar time to kon and I’m currently down 27 kg never thought I would be in this position and feel amazing
Keep going Kyle
This is great to see
I'm currently on a journey to lose 28KG, had some setbacks but we get back!
You both inspirational
Love this vid, what watch do you use Reev?
Garmin forerunner 965
Thanks mate@@reev
What watch do they use to track everything?? Looking to get one myself so I can understand exactly what I need
Great work as usual reev! Any info on Kon’s diet throughout this journey?
Simmer meal plan alongside a calorie deficit, we did a video on his channel showcasing his weight loss diet!
Great video Ollie!
🫡❤️
Great video but I have never heard anyone pronounce it as "OpenEyeMer" 😂
Hi reev I’ve lost 38kg in 6 months. From 108kg to 70kg and I want to gain muscle mass now so what must I do to gain muscle mass?
Lift weights and eat sufficient protein alongside the other habits you maintained when losing weight (plenty of sleep & water etc) but in a calorie surplus! (Eat more than burning)
In the gym with the actual russian bear😊
I lost 20kg in 12 weeks, so nothting is impossible. I also lost 5inches off my waistline
if ethan and simon had a child it would looke like you 100%
Kon how long did it take you to get over when you blew your back out ive done the same and am still struggling 2 months later :(
pause
out of interest, does anyone know the brand/name of the bar kon has?
reev keeps mentioning it being good (and my cheap ali one needs replacing)
I’ll find out for you! It’s overpowered!
Got it from the strength shop - Original Texas Power Bar By Buddy Capps
legend, thanks so much 🙏
edit: ended up being hard to source in australia.
but your recommendation gave me a good starting point.
ended up ordering a “rogue ohio” powerlift bar which seems like it should do the job 👌
Wonder how much muscle mass he lost because it doesn’t look like he’s doing much strength training compared to cardio 8:16
Early gang!!
