Thanks for watching my dudes, I had an absolute blast putting this one together. Tofino is truly a special place. Let me know if you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer them!
Um, im so sorry to be a "karen" but you really should not have been here when all the restaurants and parks were closed. They were closed for a reason. Tofino is very remote with only one icu bed and one ventilator in our tiny hospital. We have many elder indigenous who are vulnerable. Tofino was not welcoming tourists during this time yet some accommodation places were flouting the rules. I hope that in the future you will be a little more mindful in respecting the sensitive nature of some areas and do your research.
Thanks Noah, this is perfect timing... Just trying to find places to go within the province. Very good to know about the food situation and the hammocks.
now is not the time to be traveling to Tofino... as much as we love to share the special places the island has to offer, Tofino does not have the hospital capacity to have people from the mainland - there is ONE respirator in the ONE hospital there - if covid was to hit Tofino it would hurt the community severely. Just something to keep in mind this summer, and maybe postpone your trips until next summer!
I’m not sure why this video had 9 thumbs down when I watched it. I lived on the island for 4 years coming from the Canadian prairies. This place is paradise.
Tofino is absolutely stunning. I had such great time with a party of 5 for a weekend getaway drive from Vancouver, the beautiful unceded territory of the Coast Salish (Musqueam, Squamish and Tseil-Waututh lands) to Vancouver Island. On top of some of the great features you mentioned at Tofino...after beach, sand and surfing it was awesome grabbing some taco bits at Tacofino!
I see your editing skills have improved tremendously! Another great video content and looking forward to seeing more soon! And oh, congrats on finding the love of your life 😉
I'm heading to Tofino in a couple months with my partner for storm watching season!! I'm so excited, have never been during storm season! Any must-do at that time of year?
I'm so glad that you put in the little hike in Cox bay, I saw the viewpoint online and I really want to check it out when I go to tofino in august ❤️❤️
@@Noahvde I am, or trying to but there are a lot of stupid people out and about to put it nicely lol. I just order a new gopro to start shooting some more and to make some videos and go to parks and lakes where they are more open and free of people. Hopefully that will help me get outside more and enjoy the summer.
Nice work Noah! You could add so much to this like the WW2 bomber plane you can hike to, the lighthouses in Uclulet , island hot springs and wildlife. Pretty great for two days! One of my favorite places by far.
Wow never heard of this place before! I’ve only done beach bonfire once in Cali. It’s so relaxing to listen to the waves and enjoy the warmth from the fire 🌊🔥
Great video! We love adventure videos. My husband and I are 22 and live on our sailboat, sailing around the world! Stay safe out there, maybe we will cross paths someday
I walked past you during one of my beach walks! I say the hammocks and a person lying on the beach who I missed at first! Awesome video, couple questions, what did you shoot this on and what drone do you use?
I just went to Tofino from seeing your last video and I went to a lot of the places you recommended on this video too! Adam was great, beaches are great, going again! Keep making videos it's nice to relive moments :)
Pretty thoughtless to be in Tofino when the municipality was asking tourists to stay away. Everything was closed for a reason. Bet you got some nasty looks while chilling in the hammocks.
I'm going in a couple days and this is really helpful! Just curious, I see the boots and jackets you are all wearing, and I'm curious. Should I be bringing boots and warm jackets when I go? Or did you go when it was colder (before July, when your video was posted)?
Thanks so much Ryan! They've been sailing with reduced capacity but we made reservations in advance so it wasn't an issue. Before you board they do a brief COVID screening. During the trip they ask you to remain in your vehicle, if you choose to get out they ask you wear a mask. Overall it wasn't a big deal at all!
Not to be that guy, but I live in Tofino and our local indigenous communities are begging tourists to stay away until we have proper access to testing for covid. We have 10 hospital beds. 1 ventilator. To share between 5+ communities. This video is going to make people think that it was OKAY for you to travel here, and they will think it’s OKAY for them to travel here. Please do proper research on the ISOLATED communities you visit during a pandemic. Thanks!
Thanks for the video. Great shooting and editing skills. But I would request less ads in the video, especially placing an ad one minute into the video was kind of annoying and almost made me click off. But great video none the less and I can't wait to explore tofino. Thanks!
awesome video! I love Tofino, was just there a few days ago. would definitely recommend going to Tacofino if anyone is there. their food is SO GOOD :))
It's weird. I've lived on Vancouver Island (outside victoria) my whole life and have only been to tofino once. I'm finally going for my second time at the end of the month for the night and I'm super excited
People should also be forward that it is sovereign first Nations territory and Not Crown land. And you are All Guest on the local first Nations territory when there.

angie edgson yoga you are not being a Karen, being on the island here we have seen a lot of out of towners and people not caring about remote communities and their minimal health services. It’s maddening!
As someone living in BC fulltime, there are soo many places to camp for free, the idea of paying for accommodations while traveling here is almost a joke. Bring a backpack and explore this island as it's meant to be seen!
not welcoming people from outside the province. board shops likely won't rent to you - might even get your car keyed if people see your plates are from Berta. Now is not the time too be visiting small communities with little capacity for an outbreak.
As a local First Nations, I've gotta say this is poor timing. I can understand trying to highlight what we have here, but its extremely disrespectful to the locals to travel here during a pandemic. Really hope Im not the only local who sees this.
essential travel?? Tofino does not have the capacity to have visitors from outside the province - especially because of the gigantic outbreak in Edmonton right now I would stay home. Have fun getting your car keyed when people see your plates. Stay home
Stay home you told us.................remember that? I won't visit ever again. Yet the same people would go to Nanaimo and Parksville and felt justified ?

Hi! What/where is this sauna?
I'm a big fan of your Videos. You make me to love BC more and more.
Guten Tag from Germany
What a fun filled adventure thanks for shariung
Been here twice, this place is freaking amazing. Nothing else in BC comes close to touching this piece of heaven on earth :)
Thanks Noah, this is perfect timing... Just trying to find places to go within the province. Very good to know about the food situation and the hammocks.
So glad this helped Tim!
The beach looks so secluding. Love watching videos of areas that aren't the "hyped" places to travel. Great job Noah!
It was, so serene. Thanks for always tuning in my dude!
