- Made whilst filming primarly for a video on a Sunseeker manhattan 56. This was the "chase" and filming boat. this film was cut together from spare footage to try to market the power boat for shared ownership, therefore the shots were not planned. One day edit to produce finished result.
I love both, music and sunseeker. I feel this is life for live. Great job

The song was provided by "Challenger" who had the film made in 2007, I believe it is a singer from Teneriefe.
This is a great video, one of the best I've seen in fact. It really shows off the SuperHawk at its best. I've always liked this particular boat, shame they don't make them anymore. I think they're better looking than the new superhawks and more stylish too.

I've owned the same one since 2000. It's kept in meticulous condition. The US version is powered with three 502 cubic inch (8.4 liters) gasoline engines with 1200 horse power. I've replaced at least six engines in thirteen years. It's a fresh water Southern Lake Michigan boat. And it's not for sale!!

Super schön, ich finde das ist ausreichend motorisiert, aber 60 Knoten top speed? Ich kann es mir nicht vorstellen.
I don't believe 3x240HP diesel engines could power a Superhawk 48 to 60 knots (it's quite impossible...). I would estimate around 40-44 knots as top speed max. Cruising speed at up to 35-36 knots with this engine configuration.
I think it should be 3x420 HP, that will make it go around 60 knots

Very nice boat, but if you want to be taken seriously in a buisness proposal, as you say - It's NOT 50 feet, it's 48, it CANNOT go 60 knots with "only" 720 horsepower(as you claim), more probable a little over 40. On the other hand you CAN find extreme versions with 3x500hp gasoline engines f.ex. that WILL do 60 knots(but not for very long). My Sunseeker Mustique 42 has 2xcaterpillar 435hp, it's a lot heavier in relation to it's lenght, with more interior and shaft drives, and does only 36knots with full tanks and clean bottom.

Sunseeker never built a 50 feet superhawk, you say they measured it without a swimplatform??but it's very close, the other claims are also not consistent with the boat in the video,it's a great boat as it is, why exagurate top speed etc.?
why should your boat go 20 knots faster than any other equal model with same lousy engine configuration? you can polish the props, throw granma overboard and IT STILL WON'T DO MORE THAN MAYBE 45. you'll need another 500 hp to get to 60, it's easy to research for yourself if you don't believe it. not that I care, I only said - to sell this supercool boat there's no need for exagurations.
BTW.maybe they DID a 50 footer as you say, as they're listed for sale as everything from 48 to 52 ft. Anyways I choose to believe that the one here IS 48, as it also says if you read the text in the video. As for the top speed do you wanna bet your boat this low powered version goes 60 ? I'll bet my sunseeker against you.

I believe you. Comparing oranges and apples you say ? I was only talking about the boat in the video, and I already said you need those gas engines you mention to get to that speed. the one in the video has dull volvo diesels that just won't do that - MY POINT. maybe 45 knots

I found one of these for sale, it has 3 420 HP diesel engines and it should do 60 Mph or was it 60 knots, it was called a Sunseeker Superhawk 50.
I think the 48 and 50 is the same boat, except that the 50 have a bigger platform in the stern.
As the maker of the film we used information supplied by the private owner of this boat, which was the chase/filming boat for another craft.
