Huge shoutout to Lifeguard Harrison for his quick thinking and bravery during this intense hailstorm rescue.
Never seen a hailstorm from the beach - phenomenal!
It truly is an incredible sight to witness the power of nature from the safety of the shore.

Man even when i was younger and in shape i could have never done what you guys do...Thank you for your service !
They are insanely fit! People underestimate how much training these lifeguards do to stay in shape. At least you understand! 🙌
I love thunderstorms. The waves crashing on the beach and rocks, the dark skies with lightning flashing. I would have been in Heaven. 2 of my favorites together. Thunderstorms and the beach.
Me too. Storms are so cozy. But I'd never want to work in the ocean during it lol.
Poor 'Santa'! 🎅🤣😂🤪 Your freaking elves bailed instantly on you and I was laughing. I'm sorry, but I was. I admit it. I lived for 32 years in Tucson, Arizona, USA and very used to celebrating Christmas in desert areas...not hot in December, but certainly no snow and it took a long time to get used to that kind of Santa hats on cactus and luminarias. I was born and lived my first 18 years in New Jersey, USA, which always has snow at Christmas. I admit the vision of Christmas lights against the snow at dark is astoundingly beautiful.
the man that has gone down to the beach everyday for over 50 years, what a legend.
My child will sit here all day watching u
I was really surprised by the ferocity of that storm.Well done and so brave of Harrison to go out in that weather and save the guy.
That was a good laugh! Thank you guys ❤️❤️❤️ from Port Elizabeth Eastern Cape South Africa 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Santa with a sack of fruit 😂

You Bondi beach lifeguards are Awesome people.
Fantastic rescue from Harrison especially during those terrible conditions.
Don’t worry, Reidy is a brilliant Santa :p
I was really surprised at how big those hailstornes where. Well done guys
I forget Christmas is in the middle of summer there. Lucky...
That's Australia! 🇦🇺🦘
Thank you for helping me
It was my first time ever hearing and seeing hail in real life
I love the Australian power

Loved Reidy as Santa.Had to laugh whrn he and his elves faceplanted the sand.

Good save Harrison 😊
And this is why I want to come to Bondi never a normal day up there.
But sadly I’m in Melbourne 😢❤

and I am even further away,I live in Germany
Omg I love Germany sooo much!
Your lucky and a lot closer than me,i am in the UK 🇬🇧 ❤
Amazing work👍💪
Thank you! Our team takes pride in keeping the beach safe for everyone.
“Aww Hail nooo.” Hahaha
Hey good on that tour guide for berating the idiots….
good job Harrison!
I just wondered why barely anyone had watched this video. Lol!
It's not on regular notifications on here.
it only came out an hour ago
We’re so early eheheh
Don’t be rude I watch it and everyone how loves it
You call 13k barely anyone??? What a 🔔🔚
Love how the immediate reaction to a hailstorm is surfboard over head lmao.
They're a brave bunch, aren't they? 🤣
@@RealLifeRescue It’s so immediate it kills me, like the exact second the storm starts you can see a synchronized wave of surfboards going up.
Someone tell me why I love the phrase "drowned rat" 😂
Have been on a beach fishing, there was a storm and the smell of ozone in the air you could almost feel the stuff.electricity all around, fishing rods and umbrella went straight on the ground. Then the lightning started, amazing and dangerous.
Wow that sounds so scary! Did you make it to safety??
This is intense
The pictures shown as for the warnings should be clear to tourists that it’s out of bonds and there are dangerous currents
Poor Santa got sabotaged by his elfs 😢😂
I think if u cant swim dont go in the water
9:08 I am coming to Australia tomorrow to bondi beach
More liked head buted it 😂😂 I love these videos
0:52 Perfekt Fit ... xD
Ah yes, the day Santa became Sanda, when he faceplanted into the sand.
In TX we get hail in softball size.
It's so cold
I’m actually shocked they don’t have protective gear in situations like this. I get that it’s added equipment, but just having a little extra, even a swim suit would’ve been better. Poor guy was left in the line of fire while trying to save someone.
1:26WHAT THE HELL MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰
What season & episode is this?
❣❤❣
blaming the elves on the 1 day u work when they work pretty much all year
That beach suffers from a serious communication problem. Far too many people are nearly drowning from a simple lack of information. Why do they not post warning signs in multiple languages? Obviously, they can't do them all, but they could do them in Korean, Mandarin, German and a few of the other more common ones they encounter.
Double crikey!!
The people in the water need to get out when storms show up. Lightning will kill them before hail will.
I swear every time a Korean is rescued they look like they’re having fun after they’re rescued 😑
how are all these people drowning so called swimming instructors or lifeguards like wow i hope your bosses see this and fire you
😢😢😢😢😮😮😮😮😮
ngl that korean man was kinda finee
nvm
@@ammie5546 is it because they look young? Because if that wasn't the reason then that's pretty fucked up to comment. Both of the ones saved were quite decent looking.
That’s small hail.
First
Congrats!
Koreans😮 need to listen to what they’re told at the beach since they seem to be 90 % of who needs to be rescued. Its a continuous issue with these people.
I think your inner racism is showing. Definitely not 90% of rescues. Seen more Brits then anything on Bondi.
I think they need signs written in their language. It might help with some prevention.
it’s probably language barriers and beaches in their county probably not as fierce as bondi, been watching them for 3 yrs now and ur right most rescues r non english speakers. Even during the rescue a lot of them don’t understand how to lie on the board. As an english speaker and good swimmer i get frustrated watching these, but in this case the teacher even told them so idk 🤷🏾♀️
If they arent drowning they lost their kid 😂
I think it’s tourists in general … it’s like they lack common sense.
For a minute then i thought the legends were true when i heard Santa there. Use to get told live here in the UK that when santa visits Australia 🇦🇺 he goes OH OH OH as hes down under lol. 😂🤣🫣
That was from when i was a kiddo
