Can you tell me how many sounds I can play at once using the PC3? I have a motif xs8 and it can play up to 4 sounds at once on performance mode but I need more. For ex. I have a setup with bass, piano, strings, and brass split and layered on separate channels 1-4. I have heard that the PC3 can layer up to 32 sounds per channel? I just need the ability to use at least 8 separate sounds in one program across eight sliders. Then use my motif for other sounds like bass, brass, guitar. Thanks!
strange that the squeeky brass/trumpet sounds still sound that way. And still no aucustic guitar that sounds.. aucustic. It´s 2012 for god´s sake...still I have k2000 and it is fantastic..considering it was made allmost 30 years ago and sound as good if not more natural than this "flagship" Time to really put some effort in sound enginering Kurzweil people.

Keep in mindt that if you layer them all, you´ll end up with some serious polyphonic problems. Notes wil drop out as you playe new ones.

32 layers are heap! Actually We only need 16 layers max. Nice machine. However, Kur still is missing something to be a Kronos or XF.
