One of my favorite early IBM machines to play with! I'll have to look for a PCJR adapter. I've been using the composite output which can do fun color effects, but of course isn't the clearest for text and other higher res content.
And only now do I notice that the font of your logo is the same as in the Compaq classic logo... I don't deserve to be called a retro fan anymore :) Funny thing that the DOS menu and Card Sharks seem to perfectly fit on a 16/9 monitor, but the demo, not so much. Merci, Monsieur Chris !
Thanks! It doesn't since it has been liquidated... basically, everyone who got things from there has either kept the parts or put them back into the circulation which has helped with the price of things quite a bit!
So, the challenge is the size of the Wolfenstein install and the fact that I don't have any storage for the PC convertible. And network drivers take up too much memory sadly. If someone has a PC Convertible and a Zip drive that will work with Palmzip, I'd imagine they could give it a try.
@@StereoBucket yea! I might try Personal NetWare to see if I can get it to load. Tried LANtastic, which takes the "least" amount of memory from what I have researched in the past. I just need another 40K or so!!! If only I could do a swapfile on a floppy disk!
Oh man it looks so good! Thanks for sharing this!
Glad to do it. Thanks for watching!

Hey there! Yea, brings new life to it!!

Heya, you are spot on! It's the Masque font! Thanks for watching.
Great video Chris! Does Computer Reset have an official eBay store?

@@RetroTechChris OK, thanks! I read about Menu Works; it looks like a nice DOS shell, so to speak.
@@dave4shmups yea! I really like it! It gets the job done nicely.
1:40 how very IBM to have a big manual for an adapter cable
Haha! That is so very true. Thanks for watching!
what type of cable have use to connect pc to hdmi ?
I use an RGB2HDMI device! Search Tindie for it, and you should see one pop up from Cybernetic Systems!
Can it play that CGA 8088 port of Wolfenstein?
I haven't tried it, I'll have to give it a shot after work today!

@@RetroTechChris Ah, oh well. Thanks for trying. Would be cool if someone got it running on a zip drive.
