I foolishly bought a 330' roll of that fence because I was told by someone that they could put it up for me. That was 3 years ago and they moved out of state. Now I have this roll of fence that I, as a nearly 65 year old woman, can not handle by myself. And yes, where I want it is on a hill. So far this year, I have had 4 promises and 4 no shows. I'm going to talk to another guy tomorrow night. Please pray he can do the job!!

@@thomastimothy777 You assume a lot. We never had a chance to discuss money because they never showed up! The first guy did give a price off the top of his head that I was willing to pay, his call, not mine. But he was tied up with a big client. I simply asked for the others to come look at the job and then give me a price. They never showed, I have no idea how much they would have charged me, but if we have the money, we will pay it.

Here in Europe (Sweden) that small chicken wire is used to make fensing for small chicks, chicken babies, for grown up's it's much larger "holes".... Now to explain, we make difference between a chicken (baby) and a hen/ rooster (grown chickens)... Your chicken wire is for baby chickens. That's only one of ,many differences in the American language that we in Sweden and most of Europe don't learn when we learn the English language.... And its not "American English" in england and most English speaking countries a cicken is the grown ones u put in the soup.... And there's many more words that u use that's not teaches in english class..... It's fantastic that an American and an Englishman really understand each other 🤣🤣🤣

If your fence has to be 25' from the center of the road, how does your neighbor get by with theirs being in the road? Better spend an evening up at the little cabin while the weather is good. Saw up some winters wood while you're at it. You said you needed to do some tree thinning quite some time ago up there. Or, can always pay for it, help keep the locals employed. Sure is a site easier on your back that way lol.

Heath you scare the crap out of me every time you cut down a tree, could you please put a face cut in to direct where that tree is going and more importantly so it doesn't barber chair on you. The way you do it is so dangerous. You can go to many channels that will teach you the proper way to cut down a tree My suggestion is Buckin Billy Ray Smith. he explains the mechanics of the process and gives many examples how to cut a tree properly. I also think you will like the personality of the man.

He mentioned months back that the a metal shop building inthe future may be coming. With the current shop, he was repurposing the original foundation for the house. I don't think it workout like they had hope for use as a shop. Plus, they quickly figured out that they don't have any space for friends and family that come and visit. And having a large space like that to do family stuff indoors in the winter, is a big deal. There's a lot of negative people who criticize them, bur they've admitted they are making up as they go. Things go as planned. Some things don't. Still a good use of the abandoned home foundation.

God wants you to believe in his Son Jesus Christ, as your Savior. The one who brings clarity to your mind because he brings Life Everlasting and the Love of God.
    John 6:26-29
    King James Version
26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.
27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
    John 6:32-40
    King James Version
32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Great Wife, Happy Life. You're a great man, Heath, and that greatness is due in large measure to the marvelous good fortune you enjoy by having the love and support of a great woman. Some guys have all the luck. 😀

I know you need firewood and that severely leaning maple would help. You know it's going to fall on your beautiful new fence

Before even seeing it up, I'm thinking color, as someone else has already stated, maybe a rust color, or even 4 different colors, for each panel. Just my thoughts. Now I'll go watch and enjoy.

Question... Why put the chicken wire on the outside of the posts (not the rails)? I would think animals rubbing against it would be more likely to loosen the staple nails and push the wire away from the posts. Maybe that's more of a concern if you had cattle pushing with more weight. Don't know. Just asking. Still looks great! 😊

You know, building a skid steer frame takes time and labor, so that $550 for that frame was cheap compared to what you just did. Is your time and labor not valuable? Or is this all just for film-able content? We sell these at my work, and compared to what one hour of labor costs, this doesn’t make sense to build.

I once dug over 50 holes 5 foot deep X 6 inches with a 2-stroke power auger like the ones people use for ice fishing. There was also a guy with an auger on an excavator at the site. In this case I was able to auger almost twice as many holes as the excavator because of the time it took to maneuver the machine into position. Thanks for the video Heath & Cedar!
