Great Reaction Michael! The reason there wasn’t any fans is because they were still under COVID restrictions! So this was a way to keep fans around the world under lockdown somewhat entertained! Rosé started with a Instagram Live early on I’ll see if I can find it! This was a blast to watch!🖤🌸🙏🏻
Unfortunately, the more famous and successful blackpink got, the more YG leaned into their "exclusive" concept, and restricted them from participating in reality programs, promotions, award shows, and just making music in general, so that they would look "too good" to do the same things as other kpop groups. So even after the pandemic ended, when they might've had more events with fans, YG prevented it, despite what the girls wanted and continually asked for. Jisoo had to fight for fan meetings during her solo "promotion" for Flower, which was actually essentially 0 promo at all for the first week after its release. But YG got what was coming to them! That's why the girls left that company as individuals, and if they could've left as a group as well while maintaining the Blackpink name, I don't doubt they would've done that too, but they cared too much about the fans to disband. The Black Label and Somi and Ikon and G Dragon all left too, so good riddance.
