I would play the shufflers in any variant because the graveyard effect is just too good to give up. But the best are the shufflers in tearlament with perlereino.

Not really, don't fix the problems of both decks. It's Just another way to play the deck. Same as Lunalight Tear. There's not one card combo in Tear mostly but with Weiss + Wulf you can make New Minerva, Visas Synchro 8 to access Perlereino and then make Vampire.
Both can work but Beast king is Level 4 so works better to make rank 4 monster. If you don't gonna play Polymerization, Beast King it's just better option.

As far as i've tested the Bystial version is better. More recovery, easier access to rank 10, stronger end board
