Thanks to Leo D. Gaming for the Dark Statue combo! I find the regular Branded Chimera better honestly. The deck can make some cool combos like the DARK Statue lock but there's not enough room for non engine and using the Edge Imp package you play against Droll a lot, and adding Crossout for the deck would take 3 more slots.
I do recommend Instant Fusion using Millennium Eyes Restrict as another way to protect yourself from handtraps like Droll and Lockbird, Ash Blossom, Veiler, Dimension Shifter, etc. The Pure Chimera deck can easily make use of it and since it's a fusion monster, making it very easy to summon Magnum the Reliever once you are done using it before Instant Fusion destroys it during end phase.
Yeah the branded package is better its just that in ocg branded fusion is limited and opening is at 2 and theres no dragoon so theres just no real reason to play it which is why the ocg has been having success with this

Great deck. I do also think an Envoy of the Wax would be good to have as well since it can help Chimera survive and also lock the opponents monsters for being used as materials while also being negated for two turns.
I love the Mystery Dungeon music still one of my favorite games. Also at Salamangreat beginning. Just an amazing hand then proceeds to get drolled is just a big oof moment. Still nonetheless your videos are always so well made and honestly are my favorites.

Question is there a good substitute for the Edge Imp engine? I already got rid of my frightfur stuff a while ago and while I know it’s not hard to get I just wanted to check for any good alternatives
@@Omari-nh2qk well i always draw two copies of some cards or maybe cards i wanna in my deck this why playing more card better imagine we have grass looks greener i will always playing 60 cards
@Novox2050 yeah, but unless you have a time machine grass looks greener ain't coming back sadly, and that card only works in 60 card decks, and those decks tend to work differently then the nirmaly 40 card decks

pretty solid deck maybe more consistent than the branded variant

Dark Statue is way less oppressive than Wind Statue
The fact that dark statue is good is hilarious to me, dark lock is one of the easiest to ignore
Considering the deck could consistently running Statue and Chimera Guardian as they will is already scare me
