Your correct pronunciation of some arabic sounds deemed difficult by non-native arabic speakers is really impressive. Like the final H in Marsa Matrouh and most importantly the K in Kahera. Wow. Also thank you for showing us a bit of the road when you travel from one city to another. It is nice to see a bit of the roads and also it helps us to determine when you leave a city and arrive at the next one. I admit that i was a bit confused when you arrived to Alexandria right away after leaving Cairo. I was looking at the Mediterranean sea and thinking to myself that the Nile looks different, the confusion took just a few seconds though 😅
Thank you so much! I had to practice these sounds quite a bit when I first started learning Arabic. I still sometimes forget to make the sounds or struggle to make them, depending on the word, but I've certainly gotten better at it with time 😄

@@essameldin888 Thank you Essam, I appreciate that. Maybe on some other trip to Alexandria, but on this return journey to Cairo I am just going to be filming, editing and resting 🙏
OMG, GIGI, your expressions when you are eating are making me salivate, from your experience of tasting food from all over the world, where is the best kebab restaurant would you recommend whether it's in Egypt or anywhere else in the world?
Lol, yeah this place was really good, I started craving it again while I was editing the video later 😆 Specifically kebab?? I can't really say...I've had lots of great grilled meats around the world, and they all vary on the country with flavors, quality, spices, ways of cooking, etc. My father is from Argentina and I gotta say, they have the BEST beef, it's to die for. But Egypt also has great BBQ. Turkish food seemed kind of similar to Egypt, to me. I also really enjoy Japanese and Korean BBQ. There's a really good Japanese restaurant I like called Gyu Kaku that has chains around the world, and if I can I try to go there when I am traveling because it's really good 😅 Egypt doesn't have that restaurant here, but when I went to Bali, Indonesia in 2022 for vacation with my Egyptian bf I found a branch there and we went. But also Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam) has lots of good grilled meat on sticks...I just love it all 😅
@Gventures Argentina has the best beef, I think you are right, that's very well known all over the world, I hope I can go there one day. Thank you, Gigi, for the video.
In summer you need to wait to get in Kamona. It seems better to go in winter! How long was the ride from Siwa to Matrouh? Have you ever worried about your bike to be hijacked or stolen?
From Siwa to Matrouh took me around 6 hours on the bike, maybe 7 with stops. I have definitely been worried about my bike being stolen, because it was almost stolen twice outside my apartment in Cairo. But now I have airtags on it, and a bike handle lock. I park it inside of places when I can when traveling
@@Gventures In early '70s I escaped Toronto in my old chevy with my record player and albums in the back, drove to BC and joined the hippies in Whit Rock.
