This new gen of RL pro players keeps me glued to the 1v1 scene with Johnny and Feer and I don't even play anymore. This is fantastic. I can't even start to imagine how peak mechanics will look in the coming ones.
Agreed, it’s such an exciting sport to watch. I do still try to play occasionally 😅
100% same. I stopped playing around a year ago at around 1700 hours, but this new generation of talent is sucking me back into the content and the game itself. Soo good for the esport

I was watching this thinking it looked like just any other normal freestyle compilation. Then I saw the names of the people you did this against and my jaw hit the floor. Insanity.
this does not at all look like a freestyle compilation...which is not to say it isn't sick, but freestyle is way different than competitive.

freestyling is more so trying to get as many fancy touches on the ball before scoring but what zen beautifully articulates, is the ability to read his opponents defense so well that his offense is unreadable. He shows off a certain move and then the monent his opponent commits to a block he redirects the ball around them. His mechanics are amazing but what makes his mechanics good is his high game IQ. A better IQ can outplay better mechanical players all day.

Nobody talks about how a pro like really strong pro could go against someone like NWPO and try to hit a clip but because of the nerves would likely miss or make the play a little rusty, whereas Zen is hitting these clips like their opponents are bots or something... without doubing himself at all... so much confidence and smoothness in each of his attacks.... crazy..
