I followed TotalBiscuit and Husky closely and have watched every one of their casts that I know of. I've seen the entirety of 2 WCS series, and I watched the majority of every GSTL game. I love Homestory cup and many other tourny's. In all of this experience, I have never once consciously seen someone steal an add-on. I have never stolen an add-on, because there is no reason to park a Barracks in an enemy base (that I knew of, also I'm a Protoss main). Somehow, this major feature has completely evaded my sight until literally just today. This means that my screwup is probably worse than any of you realized........

For the first drop I can understand, but why did maru not build any missile turrets after that? In so many of these games, even just one makes a huge difference (although you'd need a couple more for a full doom drop). He was floating over 500 minerals, could easily afford several turrets just to secure his production.
Clem was 17 during this game and it almost feels like he's new to the scene. Maru was 18 during this game, but it feels like he's been playing top tier SC2 for a decade and is on the cusp of retirement. I'm so confused. :)
I enjoy that Clem is only 17 or 18 years old, and has the absolute balls to not only proxy Marauder rush, but to also steal another Terran's tech lab addon, AND doom drop the shit out of Maru after one attack didn't succeed. True youth fearlessness right there
One premier tournament win hardly counts as a GOAT. Clem does seems to be in the best form right now, though. We'll see how far he can go. For reference INnoVation has 10 premier tournament wins and Maru has 9. Maru is slightly ahead on tournament winnings, though. Pick either one for Terran GOAT.

He was also playing at 1 a.m, and suffered a lot from his shoulder injury since last GSL. I saw no way in which Maru could have beaten Clem in this tournament because of the times. Maru likes to sleep early. I know.

Did you know that Siege Tanks are long range siege units? Cool, right? They are 150 minerals and 125 gas, quite expensive in the early game. There's another unit called the Viking!!! Its name is sick isn't it? It is a long range anti air unit that is used to snipe overlords in tvz, snipe air units and colossi in tvp and dominate the air battles in tvt. They are used as a way of getting more and more ahead when you are even or ahead of your opponent, because many vikings do nothing if you have no tanks! Maru(the blue terran player in the top left) did not have enough money to afford straight up tank production. He knew there was no way to catch up to Clem(the Red Terran spawning on the bottom right) in terms of the air fight, because he already had a viking ahead of him AND a banshee, which is an airborne Terran unit that costs 150 minerals and 150 gas that fires at only ground units with single target damage. It gives the user superior ground support. Maru, the blue Terran on the top left, saw that Clem(the red Terran on the bottom right) already had a few tanks more than he did, and also a sieged position in front of his command center. (If you need explanation on what a command center is please ask ^^) He had no money to pay to win both the air battle and the ground, so decided to go all-in on the ground army. The reason he was not scared of doing that was because marines (the small soldier-like units that wear thick armor and shoots with a gun) can shoot air and give him better ground AND air coverage.

yes. AND you can steal them in Co-Op missions too if you're a terran commander
However if I recall correctly, at least some of the missions they appear in on the campaign have the detonate with the building; could be wrong.
