Former Pentagons members Ken Goodloe and brother Ted got together with lead singer Floyd Smith plus Johnny Blakely and Juan Johnson and were active recording between 1964 and 1972 as The Corduroys, The Themes, 21st Century and Soul Patrol for six different labels.

Some very rare top top top tunes Ady , keep them coming , about time we had some REAL DEAL Northern soul on You tube .
    Sick of the top 500 B….Ks ,
Eddie Parker’s I’m Gone is about number 300+ , he’s having a laugh at our expense.
I think The Real top 500 , is a bit too advanced for the in crowd ….
Eddie Daye Lean on me , is the REAL DEAL , to me , it’s what Northern Soul is all about !!!
    Stormers !!!

Hiya. This is the first release as The Corduroys. I had the pleasure of knowing Lee Silver who was the label owner, producer, etc. We used to talk on a regular basis & he explained that prior to the Pentagons it came out as The Corduroys. The hunt was then on to find a copy. This copy showed up in the UK.

🤔 I think this was a Phil Wainwright record in late 80s
