I just watch the disassemble process for the GSI Creos Mr Procon Boy WA PS289 and my jaw dropped just how many pieces and tools are involved. This Eclipse CS is 100% better with fewer parts, and it looks very easy to maintain!
Want to convert to 0.5 from 0.35 and I am in doubt...besides the obvious needle and nozzle is any other part needed? Thank you very much, Domo Arigato!
Using a cotton swab dipped in some acetone, apply around the stuck area, wait a few minutes and then try to wiggle it loose. Repeat if necessary. Hello! I just received my first airbrush. An Iwata HP CS and when I disassembled it I saw something on the needle. The needle is on one side a bit like an arrow tip but smoother. A bit faster on one side or like a small drop of water. Is it the way is supposed to be?
Thank you for your comment. It would be helpful to see an image of the needle. Please use this form to contact our Customer Care team and they will be able to help! www.iwata-airbrush.com/blog/contact-us/
I just purchased my Iwata Eclipse HP-CS airbrush. - WHY? - Because almost all airbrush experts highly recommend the Iwata Eclipse HP-CS as the next goto general workhorse in an airbrush upgrade. - So I went with the Iwata Eclipse HP-CS airbrush in my upgrade. I know that the Iwata Eclipse HP-CS airbrush comes with the 0.35 needle and nozzle set already installed from the factory. - But, do you know (or can you tell me), if the “Iwata Eclipse BCS 0.5mm Nozzle”, and the “Iwata Eclipse BCS 0.5mm Fluid Needle” will interchange with, fit on (in), and work in the Iwata Eclipse HP-CS airbrush? Of all the different video’s I’ve watched pertaining to the Iwata Eclipse HP-CS airbrush, Not one of the other airbrush experts on RUclips has ever mentioned anything about ever having changed out the two needle systems in their Iwata Eclipse HP-CS airbrush or if that needle/nozzle combo switcheroo has been done or could be done. So therefore, basically, what I'm asking is if the “Iwata Eclipse BCS 0.5mm Nozzle”, and the “Iwata Eclipse BCS 0.5mm Fluid Needle” will interchange with, the factory installed 0.35 needle and nozzle set and work in the Iwata Eclipse HP-CS airbrush?
You are correct, Iwata Eclipse HP-CS is highly versatile and has been a go-to for airbrushers for decades. You really can't go wrong with it because it can do most types of spraying really well. When taken care of properly, they will be in-service for many years. If you wish to convert your Iwata Eclipse HP-CS to a .5 mm set up, it takes three parts to do that. You must change the Needle (Item # I6171), Nozzle (Item #I6041), and Nozzle Cap (Item #I6021). These parts can be purchased at Coast Airbrush or in Canada Maple Airbrush. Thank you for choosing Iwata.
What a great video. No extended intro. No music. No unnecessary talking. Just clear shots of the process. Well made.

Iwata Eclipse series brushes were designed for easier maintenance when compared to other models. They are very popular as a result
I just ordered my first Eclipse airbrush! I've never used an airbrush before. I know this video will really come in handy.
Thanks for choosing Iwata! Yes, a solid cleaning routine is key to a great airbrush experience. Have fun!
@@iwatamedea1 I got it yesterday and she's beautiful!😍

For a successful conversion you will need to convert the needle, nozzle and nozzle cap
@@iwatamedea1 Domo Arigato!
I just purchased a HPCS and my nozzle is not compression fit. It's fused to the front of the airbrush
What is the safest way to pull your cone out, when it's stuck inside the nozzle?

My needle won't go through, I follow the exactly the way you did it. It wouldn't go through and the tip is bent....
Are people really that stupid? - I mean: "not being able to download the instruction sheets", well the answer is YES!!!
