After sniffing your body and not detecting illness, he (correctly) monitored the person holding the camera and correctly surmised that if *they* weren't upset, he shouldn't be either. Very smart and cute.

I love the way he turns his head sideways to look at you like what's wrong Daddy? What a loving way to act such a loving dog. My dog knows even when I'm sad or depressed without crying. Dogs are claver they quickly understand your emotions if you have emotional connection with them

When the German Shepherd kept smelling you and going around you? He was giving you a doggy physical to make sure that you are really okay. And when he realized nothing was wrong with you that's when he went to lay down. And you kept fake crying. And he like I don't know what is wrong with you? Because the doggy physical shows nothing at all. So get up and prepare my food 😂

Lol I once tried this on my Jack Russel and she stared at me for a while but couldn't care less. She knew I wasn't really upset.

My GSD had such empathy and sensitivity that if I or any family members or even friends had any BBB signs of illness she would offer love.
When I was little and when ever I was upset or crying my german shephard would cry and whine. He would hound. He was so concerned about me... He would lick the tears off my face. He would look so sad. I had a very special bond with him..

My family and I used to have a budgie named Hans when I was a young child. When we would take him out of his cage, he would want to play with us. I would pretend to cry, he would climb to my shoulder, rub his head, peck on my ear, and sing to console me. He was a smart bird.
