lute’s part is honestly my favorite part in the whole song, not just that it hits so well with the calm, sad setup at the start, but the buildup to her moment and that she was waiting to talk about this, it shows her character and the stubbornness behind her personality.

The "did you forget that hell is forever" bit has got to be my favorite part, musically, in the song. I'm really glad that you perfectly captured the energy of that whole verse. It's has such a satisfying resolution that "Hell is Forever" just doesn't have. I'm pretty sure it's because of rhythm and note length and the "hell is forever" bit.

So I watched video before seeing Hazbin, and was like, "Damn, this kicks. I like it." And after watching Hazbin, now it's like, "Damn, this kicks in the soul." The escalation into a reprise of "Hell is Forever" followed by a direct turnaround of the song right back into Adam and Lute's faces, followed by the two of them turning the tables right back with the big reveal...such great storytelling and such an effective way of telling it.
Okay, it's always interested me that in this song, if the singer has a range considered "lower," they have a secret to hide behind their words, while the ranges considered "higher" are straightforward verbalizing their opinions truthfully. For example, Charlie and Emily are the two "higher" ranges in this song, and both of them have nothing to hide. They're innocent in this viewpoint. We're going to disregard Lute because I'm still trying to figure her out, but I don't think she feels like she has anything to hide- she knows what's she doing. Girlbossing it. Meanwhile, Adam has an extremely low range in this song, as do Sera and Vaggie. It comes to show the intensity of the secrets that they're hiding. Sera and Adam are both the main holders of the secret that demons are being exterminated, considering Sera is one of the closest servants of God and a princess of Heaven, while Adam is the head exterminator. However, Sera's voice does get higher during her explanation of why the extermination is occurring, which feels perfect because she puts the secret aside to truly explain why she is supporting the extermination. She just wants to look out for the members of Heaven, though it comes off a bit creepy. And I'm not even gonna start on Vaggie. She's a fallen exterminator who's killed thousands of demons, and her range is considered extremely low in this song. Enough said. Also, litle side note, I love how the accents grow stronger and stronger as the emotions get more intense. Meanwhile, they stay super light for more delicate emotions, like sadness or realization. Super clever. Thank you for taking in the requests for You Didn't Know!! I love the contrast between different voices, you did this justice!!
