I don't know why this started spreading around, but the file has not been leaked yet. A singular person posted photoshopped screenshots on 4chan, and all the sudden a ton of articles got written about it being leaked.
It’s because someone got their review copy early and they’re bragging about it and people think oh my God leaks in the code is out even though it’s not it’s just some guy bragging
By the way, the game is not leaked right now. The code is not out. A Nintendo employee was streaming it on discord and immediately got taken down so far there’s barely any spoilers for the game meaning you’re fine

Hey just so you know there's a good chance this is fake, the rom is nowhere online and it seems the leak was only a few screen shots that might have been photoshop/was from a review copy, regardless, the game files dont currently seem to be anywhere on the internet so the game really hasn't leaked at all yet, but Nintendo games always seem to leak early so its just a matter of time
I am not sensitive to video game spoilers, like at all, so I was going to dig around for footage of the leak (I have full intentions of buying the game at launch and playing, I was just looking for more footage) and I was not able to find a scrap of info that hasn't already been revealed officially... so if there's a leak... its a really really tiny one
It's interesting that we didn't have such things in the late 90s and 2000s. Companies should not allow testing, or illegal distribution through the obvious testers they give/send copies to. The ideal methodology is to avoid reviewers getting copies. Simple as that. Another solution would be to force users to enter serial codes or to have viewable serial code on the launch screen to identify specifically what source caused a leak?

I never once thought a game could be spoiled by leaks because I still have to play it myself, like okay the reveal of something is out there but not the context of which, where, when and how it happens or where the game goes after the reveal… if anything learning more about a game motivates me to reach that point for myself for instance if it’s leaked that you can play as ganon… okay? Likely fake, and people are just making up 'spoilers' and fake screenshots. Some of them might be right, purely by chance. Nintendo is already taking risks with gameplay, so the storyline is likely to be relatively formulaic.
I’ve at least seen one person on RUclips claiming to have played it through the leaks. Then again their description of the dungeons is something anyone whose seen the first trailer could guess. So whatever.
There is a new video here on youtube with a small Screen and Gameplay Leak. Just a few seonds but you can see in german language the start screen and the player loading a save file.
I personally like spending money on Nintendo games cause I really respect them and want to support them how I can But I understand that there's some people who can't do that If there's a Nintendo game that isn't available anymore though like gamecube games I will pirate those and then just pay for the rerelease or remake later if or when those come out
I only support this kind of piracy distribution if there's no other way to get the product or the host company is corrupt all to Hell and back. But Nintendo is a pretty clean company to my knowledge, and this is a new game about to be distributed! I, for one, will be very happy to spend my money on this and enjoy it to the fullest!
@@BenjoCovers um, they put the entirety of the game on the cartridge, they've even put DLC on the cartridge, they've never made a live service game, they always prioritize gameplay and single player, they only did microtransactions with the Kirby Clash games, they will never take down the games you bought, NSO (which was cheap to begin with) has never gone up in price, they don't require an Internet connection for you console to function. Need I go on?
I really think companies should make their products completely 100% done and THEN reveal it, market it, and set a release date. They should do none of those steps until the game is completely finished. That way if it leaks early then they can go ahead and just release it. That is the best way to mitigate the damage IMO.
But the fans ARE thieves if they're pirating Nintendo games, because that's not only stealing money, but not showing respect to the games they're pirating. Piracy is always, ALWAYS wrong.
