Exactly! The mail is fast from Australia and the shipping rates are far more reasonable than from the US to Australia. Love all the lovely old samplers. Thanks for sharing all those beautiful things.
I used to watch you ladies with my mom. You entertained us with all your stories. When she was in later stages of dementia she would have anxiety/panic attacks, I would turn on one of your videos and she would settle down. Unfortunately she lost her battle with this horrible disease on May 3rd. It's taken me a bit to be able to watch this video. Thank you ladies!!
Dear Kathy, we both send you our sincerest sympathy on the loss of your dear Mom. We are sending you a hug and all the love in the world. To know that we helped in any way means the world to us. Please take good care of yourself and we hope that stitching brings you comfort during this time of grief.
I bought 2 crochet tablecloth’s from a thrift store yesterday. I couldn’t believe it. Then I got a stack of cross stitching booklets and 1 book that has all Santa’s cross stitching patterns in it. I’m so happy.
Hi Brenda. I bought the Spring’s Messenger chart last fall and started stitching it at last week’s Stitch North 2023 cross stitch retreat. It is in memory of my oldest granddaughter, Robin, who passed away in Sept 2018. I am about half done and will finish it this month. I loved your video today and enjoyed seeing our the “ goodies” you bought to stitch up! You both always make me laugh and make my day! Cheers 🧑🏻🦰🇨🇦
It is your wonderful flosstube that has turned me on to the wonderful world of samplers. I have always done my stitching crafts but samplers were never on my radar until last year when I picked up cross stitching after a 25 year hiatus and started watching you wonderful stitchers. I’ve now branched out to 36ct linen from 18ct aida and those beautiful 100/3’s. Fabulous. Thank you for taking the time to share so much with us. 🤗
Brenda - thank you so much for the FlossTube mention! ❤❤ Laura - I cracked up when you said, “It all seems so do-able when you’re there.” #truth! It’s those Attic fumes, I tell you! 😂
Your time at The Attic sounds fabulous!!! I cannot even imagine seeing Katie's casket in person!!!! Laura, those fabrics have the most perfect names!! Your antique samplers are such treasures!!! Thanks for sharing your joy, as always!!! Happy stitching!
Wow!! Thank you for showing us all the most wonderful & gorgeous things!! I am so happy for you to have such a good time. Thank you so very much for letting us enjoy all things through you!! Blessed by your flosstube!!💖💝🥰❤️😘
Another fun visit with you both. I was down from Wyoming visiting a friend in Scottsdale, she’s a needle pointer but humors me and took me to the Attic Wednesday morning, so I missed seeing you by a few hours. Had a great time and did some serious stash enhancement. Glad your weekend was an all around wonderful time.
Oh My..what a wonderful time with you two today! I'll bet you had no idea how much $$ your trip to The Attic would cost me!! LOL. I now have a good sized list of things I have to order tomorrow when the shop opens up!! Brenda, please share what linen & flosses you'll be using for Every Opening Flower...I want to start it ASAP & can't make up my mind on choices. Laura, what a hoot to have linen named in your honor and a beautiful antique (unfinished) sampler to hang on your wall. I had never seen the reproduction chart, but now it's on my shopping list, too! How I wish I could have been in your pocket on your trip to The Attic with all your friends. What a blessing! Have a wonderful week and Happy Stitching!!!
Thank you so much Barbara!!!! I bet Brenda will use the called for floss on Every Opening Flower...but expect an update next time if she started it. Glad you found lots of stuff to order from the Attic!!!
Love you two ladies ,and all your enthusiasm,it’s just what l need with my coffee .l do wish l could stitch on small counts of evenweave ,but my 80 year old eyes will not let me . Maybe when l have my cataracts removed it may be better .happy stitching ladies .🥰
Wowza! What a jam packed episode! I am so glad you both were able to get away and go to The Attic with friends! Your hauls were amazing! Brenda, what a fabulous gift from Jean! Laura, the linen named for you was so fun, and beautiful! Looking forward to seeing what you stitch on it! Just when I think I have seen everything, you both amaze me with all of the good things you add to your stash! Brenda, the small Scattered Seed finishes are so pretty! i love everything that Tammy designs, and am currently stitching a pin keep from her club! I hope to have a nice collection of smalls someday! Have a great 2 weeks!
Hi ladies!!!! So happy to see a new video!! The longer the better!!! I just finished binge watching all of your past ones, took me a few months but enjoyed every moment!! I’m new to stitching and you’ve both helped me to build my stash 😜😜. OMG those linen names were wonderful!!! I would be a total fan girl if I ever get the chance to meet either of you, lol!! An H & H moment for sure!! I just adore you both. You are so kind, generous, funny, knowledgeable and sweet as the day is long!!! Glad you both got the chance to go to the Attic and spend quality time with kindred spirits!! I don’t have an LNS shop close by (NYC) but I’m hoping to take a trip upstate this summer 🤞🏻🤞🏻. Well you gals stay well, be happy, don’t work too hard and stitch stitch stitch!!! Hugs!! 🪡🧵🪡🧵
Thank you so much for all of your kind words Maria!!!! We appreciate them very much! Hope you get upstate to Hobby House Needleworks!!!!! It is a very wonderful shop!!!!! So glad you found stitching!!!!
Great floss tube ladies! I have my list of a few must haves! Congrats Laura on getting fabric named for you. Such a great cross stitching high light!!!
Hanging out with stitchy friends is the best! I loved hearing about your trip and have not been to the attic yet. I think I've been waiting to get into a retreat but I like the idea of just planning a small visit with friends to get to know it first! As usual I'm always inspired when I watch you wonderful ladies to support all of the shops that keep us smiling! Lots of love and wishing you all the peaceful stitching your heart desires!🪡🧵🪡
The stamped cross stitch, let me live…, was the first cross stitch I ever did. I might have been about 10 years old (1965). I love watching you guys. You can see the loving friendship between the two of you. You are so fortunate.
Wow!! So much gorgeous eye candy and beautiful stitching. So happy that the two of you got to go. Thanks so much for sharing all of your beautiful things and your stories. Happy stitching……………….
Another great video… you girls are awesome!!! The excitement of Crosstitch is amazing and so relatable ! ;yikes) my mom used to be a Millinery maker of hats and I love having all her beautiful hats in my stitch craft room ! Family items are wonderful !
Thank you beautiful ladies for another ore inspiring video. I look forward to seeing you and I so appreciate you time you dedicate to us. Love and blessings xx
Your almost 2 hour episode took me twice that long and cost me more then I should have spent because I had to stop and check out all your wonderful finds. I look forward to your videos so much…..thank you for supplying us with a wonderful place to spend our Sundays.
Classic episode Brenda and Laura! I felt like I was at the Attic enjoying every chart and goody. Looks like you ladies really had lots of fun. So much eye candy, have fun choosing your next start, thank you for sharing 💚
Nice to be with you girls again today!! I enjoy your projects, your goodies and your sense of humor - you both deserve every gift and compliment you receive. " I wish you lived next door". 🙋
Every time I think I don’t want to stitch or I am just not in the mood to stitch, I watch you two, and every Sunday I get a little stitching in. ❤thank you for inspiring me.
I just love my Sunday night with you ladies! You were the first flosstube I started watching a year ago and I went back to your original video and watched EVERY SINGLE ONE before I would watch anyone else 😊 Sarah, Carol, and Colorado Crossstitcher are also some of my favorites! Thank you for enabling me, as you always do! 😂
Oh my goodness!. Two hours (almost) of the two of you was just a treat. I was so overwhelmed by this video and all the eye candy and haul, that I had to save it so I can watch it again. I am just so enthralled that I cannot say more. I have to watch again. Thank you both soooo much!!!
Just wow and wow. I needed this afternoon with the two of you. Than you for the generous shout out. Congratulations on the antique samplers. The will reside in your homes where they will be properly loved and respected. Love you both!!!!
Ladies so much fun & memories. I am very thankful for floss tube . Wonderful to be able to share & live through your memories! My time spent with you both is something I truly treasure! Thank you so much for sharing! It was wonderful have a great 2 weeks
I found you on the youtube channel about a month ago and I have been watching from the beginning of your channel and let me tell you my stash has grown enormous in the last month! My husband said "Are you going to stitch all of those?!" And I told him maybe but they have to be in my stash in case I want to. You two are great and I love watching you!
Thank you so much Judy!!! As you know, we understand and fully support the additions to your stash.... one simply must have access to lots of choices at a moment's notice!
thank you for mentioning me again in your video. In fact, the sampler from Nicola Parkmann is delightful and a lot of fun to play this reproduction. On the other hand, when sewing 40ct linen fabric, you need to spend a lot of time on petit points stitches. 😊
Awesome flosstube girls!!! Brenda, I have the same stamped piece as you do !! The piece that one of your daughters wants!! It always hung in the hall at my grandmothers !!! Absolutely one of my treasures . My great aunt did it!! I believe that it's dated on the back and if I find it, I will let you know. Just had to tell you!!!!You two take care!! Until next time!!!! Happy stitching!! 😊 ❤❤❤❤❤❤. Barbara
What a great episode! Wow! You ladies sure had a great stitching time at The Attic. I recently acquired a piece stitched by my husband’s great grandmother. She stitched it at 94 and had perfect cross stitches. Amazing! Love your haul and just in awe of everything you do! ❤❤
This was an epic episode! I can’t even begin to comment on everything I’d like to since there’s probably a character limit. Brenda’s gift of the queen chart is perfect…you two are definitely stitching royalty. I mean, who else gets fabric named after their catch phrases?!? 🤭 Happy Stitching! ❤
Happy for the two of you and your trip to the Attic. Glad it was just what you needed. All the goodies you got both old and new. The people you got to be with and the friendship. June isn’t that far away and I’m sure the Bristol retreat will be a delight too. Oh and the names of those fabrics and they are totally wonderful colors. I don’t know which I like best.
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 Laura here I thought the 2of you were going to Bristol. I'm not going anywhere unfortunately. However I'm stitching and watching flosstubes! I live vicariously through you all.
Hi Brenda and Laura , what a wonderful video , I really enjoyed it! And thanks to you I discovered Soed Idee ( Sweet Idea ) in the Netherlands, who sells the most beautiful threads, patterns and linen. Your videos are so uplifting, you make my day with every new episode! Lots of love from a huge fan in Belgium!
I always enjoy watching your floss tube. I have never been to The Attic. I see all of the beautiful things you all show. The Attic Needlework shop is on my bucket list. 🙏🏻 (the only thing on my bucket list) it’s only a 6 hour drive for me but I got to save a whole lot of money to spend there😊. Thanks for sharing your love of stitching with me. God bless you both See you next time.
That Moira Blackburn piece is exquisite! Have always loved her patterns. Her Three Things sampler is my favorite: words to live by! Love your flosstube!
Your trip sounded so wonderful. I’m driving up to Dyeing to Stitch next Saturday, and I wish I had a dozen friends to go with me! (There will be 3-4 of us.) 💗
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 It was marvelous! We shopped and planned and shopped and chatted and shopped and stitched and shopped! 😉 Then I got to stop at Brick City Cross Stitch on my way to south Florida to serve on a mission trip, so my supplies and inspiration runneth over! 💗
You two are a terrible influence on me! Lol!!! My Wish List has grown tremendously longgggg!! Yes, it has!!! But I LOVE it!!! Thank you two! I really enjoy your videos!
Oh my heck! All the haul has me spinning. Brenda you cracked me up with the "don't hesitate to order from Australia" because I had paused the video and checked out a full cart from her! Can't wait to get my hands on the H&H and the Serial Starter fabrics along with some other goodies.
Love watching you two! I laugh and shop the whole time. You show a project or talk about a designer, and without thinking, I am making another purchase. Thanks!
Thank you for another great floss tube. I enjoy seeing everything! The Attic is on my list to visit. Every time I tell my husband he needs to drive me to the attic..he gives me this look 🙄..lol..happy stitching.
If you can drive to the Attic....then you better go this coming Friday or ASAP!!!! It is so amazing Diane!!!! Tell your husband to get the car ready!!!!
I am so lucky to have the Attic in my backyard! Love that you describe it and the fellowship there. Jean is a remarkable woman who has me hooked on 56 ct linen. 😮
Loved this much! It was so much fun to hear the trip stories and see all the fun finds! I loved Brenda's finishes of the smalls. Who is Joy that finishes for you? Does she finish for the public? Appreciate the time you spend for us. Keep stitching and sharing about it. Love you girls!
Thank you so much Starla! Joy is a great finisher who is currently not taking on new clients.....we can highly recommend Faye (Carolina Stitcher) and Terri from The Olde Needle Shop.
An absolutely lovely video! Beautiful things. Loved seeing what Susan stamped on the bag she put your gift in. The stitching girl. I’m pretty sure I have that stamp. I got it many years ago. I love it! Good memories. I have very many rubber stamps. 🌺🌺🌺
Hey gals, great to see you both so excited after your time with fellow stitchers. And your haul 😮❤️. Looking forward to seeing some serious stitching in your next video. Take care of yourselves ❤️🇦🇺
Wonderful show today girls!! Enjoyed all of your haul. What a wonderful experience to stitch and shop with your friends. I appreciate you both for sharing!! Have a wonderful Mother's Day girls! God bless you both.
Love enjoying all of your experience and your joy. Laura its fun to see you using the acorns & threads bag - my LNS. Such a great bag!! So wonderful to stitch with you.
So many things to mention, I cannot do it all. So, let's see ... the Christmas In My Heart that you showed, thinking of doing it on Red Cedar by Cedar River Linen and Design - I thought of that as soon as you showed it. I think it would be a great fabric. I might do it in a light thread, though, were I to do it. Then I laughed out loud when you said, Laura, that here is where the crazy came in - you mean, you can pinpoint it? I am pretty sure that the crazy has been well-represented in these videos from day one! And also, how great that you have Henrietta Binns - and I laughed when you noted that it is probably unfinished, and isn't that a perfect sampler for you to own! But overall, I want to say that you two are inspiring, funny, encouraging, entertaining, informative - whenever I hit a low spot in my stitching I can always turn to your video and find good cheer and inspiration. Thanks for another fantastic installment. (I do miss the louder offerings of the cuckoo clock, though ...)
Thank you so much Emily!!!!!! Comments like yours really keep us going!!!! I will tell Brenda that she needs to move a cuckoo clock in that room if we keep "filming" there!
I found that after a bit the 56 ct got easier and my eyes adjusted and I did need light but did not need magnification anymore. I was using Tudor Silk that Jean sent and a size 12 tapestry beading needle.
Stitching friends are a treasure. And how much fun to meet at The Attic! Wonderful people there (Jean and Cheri, I’m looking at you), who are such inspirations. BTW, I take notes on all your episodes and learn so much each time.
I was expecting a long video and wasn't disappointed, thanks ladies and welcome back. Brenda, you should scan your family photos so you and your brother can have all of them. My husband and I each have huge families and he has become the family memory keeper so now everyone has the photos on a flash drive and in Dropbox.
Ooh I hope you ladies left some stuff at the Attic! My husband planned a golf trip in Phoenix so I could go shopping at the attic! Bless him! I’m so happy you all had so much fun there . Can’t hardly wait for Friday 😊
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 oh my gosh it was a complete nightmare trip to get there , but everyone took care of me and my pug puppy once we got there . This place feels like home . They speak my language. They were at once - teachers , carers, puppy entertainers, hosts, friends and kind. Magical . I cried upon arriving and cried leaving for very different reasons. Love of this joyful craft was all around me there.
Fabulous !!! So nice to listen to you both, you must have had a fantastic time, something I can only dream about. But am so glad that you bring us a taste of your adventures. I go to retreats here in New Zealand and that is fantastic to, the camaraderie and friendships you make are so good for the sohl. Sending you warm regards and I loveeeeee your long videos.
Brenda and Laura, I have so enjoyed watching your videos! I watched this most recent one and had such fun that I went back and starting watching those from the beginning of this year. Laura, you mentioned a few episodes back your excitement for the start of the IndyCar season and I wonder if you will be venturing to a track anytime soon. My husband works for IndyCar Radio and I often get to tag along and would be tickled to meet you! If not, maybe I'll run into you both when I finally get to make that pilgrimage to The Attic... :)
Audrey!!! It has been so much fun meeting you on You Tube and IG!!! Next year I really want to come down for Fast Friday and qualifying weekend!!!!! Let's stay in touch!!!!! Pole Day yesterday was something else!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 It was crazy, wasn't it!? Yes, please come down next year! Ryan keeps reminding me that he would be happy to take you around the paddock and garages and stuff on a tour one of the days. I'll be sure to remind you at the start of next season! :)
@@StitchStitchBead It is a date! Mike Duet and I would be over the moon about that. I can't wait to get home from work and watch Carb Day coverage....and I am so hepped up about the race. I was watching one of your old flosstubes today and all the sudden my son is laughing and he say to me....mom their laughs and contagious 😂 😅😅
That is so dear! Thank you for telling us Neva!!
😊 ❤❤❤❤❤❤. Barbara
That is so cool Barbara!!!!!!! We are all lucky to have family treasures!
Beautiful video you ladies are always good for enabling 😂♥️♥️
Thank you Christina!
That is exactly right Brenda. You rescued it because you knew the value of the work that went into it. 😊
It is a good thing that we all know how to rescue these beautiful works of art!
What a great episode! Wow! You ladies sure had a great stitching time at The Attic.
I recently acquired a piece stitched by my husband’s great grandmother. She stitched it at 94 and had perfect cross stitches. Amazing! Love your haul and just in awe of everything you do! ❤❤
How wonderful Pamela!!! Would love to see that piece stitched by your husband's great grandmother!
We are so lucky!!!!! We appreciate it all so much!!!! Thank you Toni!
Thank you so much Mary Ellen!!!! Glad you are going to Bristol!!!! You and Brenda and everyone else will have a great time!
Thank you so much Marina!!!!!!!!! How wonderful that you found a place to obtain beautiful stitching!!!!! Hello to you in Belgium!!!!
Thank you Gloria!!!! You have to get to the Attic ASAP!!!! It is so much fun!!! Hope you can go soon!
That Moira Blackburn piece is exquisite! Have always loved her patterns. Her Three Things sampler is my favorite: words to live by! Love your flosstube!
Thank you Meredith!
Fabulous xxx Thanks ladies xxx
Thank you Arleen!
Your trip sounded so wonderful. I’m driving up to Dyeing to Stitch next Saturday, and I wish I had a dozen friends to go with me! (There will be 3-4 of us.) 💗
Hope your trip to DTS was tons of fun Lori!!! We love Ann and Pat!
Great video.
A lot of great goodies shown!
Love the Laura fabrics.
Marilyn
Thank you Marilyn!!!!
Hi Brenda and Laura, how nice that you got to see Katie and her Britomart casket. What fun. Your haul was nice especially the silk threads.
Thank you Cheryl!!!!
I love your video! Loved seeing you both when you were in town. Thank you for your kindness and support for my charts. Biggest hugs! Aimee
We are so happy and excited for you Aimee!!!!!!! Wishing you every success and we are happy to be a small part of your start!

You have to go ASAP!!!! It is the best!!!!
You two are a terrible influence on me! Lol!!! My Wish List has grown tremendously longgggg!! Yes, it has!!! But I LOVE it!!! Thank you two! I really enjoy your videos!
Thank you Laurie!!!
Oh my heck! All the haul has me spinning. Brenda you cracked me up with the "don't hesitate to order from Australia" because I had paused the video and checked out a full cart from her! Can't wait to get my hands on the H&H and the Serial Starter fabrics along with some other goodies.
Goodies have arrived - gorgemous and fast
Love your grandmother box items, I have the tree with squirrel crewel piece also.
That is so wonderful Beverly!!!!
Love watching you two! I laugh and shop the whole time. You show a project or talk about a designer, and without thinking, I am making another purchase. Thanks!
Yay!!!! Glad you are finding things that tickle your fancy!
LOVE your show again girls. Always inspiring and definitely enabling...lol. Thank you so much
Thank you for watching Hanna!!!
You girls are horrible! I always want to shop when I watch you ladies….so many beautiful threads, Lenin and charts, I want them all! Love y’all ❤
Patsy!!! You know we are out of control 90% of the time~~~ We just can't help it!
That is so wonderful for you Brenda!!!! And that you are hooked on 56 count! Everything looks amazing on it!
Thank you Gerry!!! I too have two tons of rubber stamps. I just can't part with them.
My Sunday is complete!!!!! Laura- those fabric names.... what a hoot!!!! xoxo
Aren't those names amazing! Thank you Christine!
Hey gals, great to see you both so excited after your time with fellow stitchers. And your haul 😮❤️. Looking forward to seeing some serious stitching in your next video. Take care of yourselves ❤️🇦🇺
Thank you Judy!
Wonderful show today girls!! Enjoyed all of your haul. What a wonderful experience to stitch and shop with your friends. I appreciate you both for sharing!! Have a wonderful Mother's Day girls! God bless you both.
Thank you Brenda!
What a fabulous trip you had! Thank you for sharing all your pretty things-quite inspiring!
Thank you Jenni!
Love enjoying all of your experience and your joy. Laura its fun to see you using the acorns & threads bag - my LNS. Such a great bag!! So wonderful to stitch with you.
Thank you Carol!!!! I vow to get to Acorns and Threads in person someday!!!!! Love that bag!
Thx for all the enabling 😂😂😂 💃💃👏🏻👏🏻 didn’t know about Mrs Flossy - what beautiful patterns!
Thank you Tanya!
Love everything you are working on and enjoy you two so much. Sounds like you had a wonderful trip. I so wish there was a LNS near me.
Thank you Kathy!!!!!! I wish there was an LNS near every stitcher!
I found that after a bit the 56 ct got easier and my eyes adjusted and I did need light but did not need magnification anymore. I was using Tudor Silk that Jean sent and a size 12 tapestry beading needle.
Thank you for that vote of confidence and words of wisdom Valerie!!!
Oh, I’m a bit jealous of your Attic trip. What fun! However, I will ALSO be at the Attic in June for Bristol!! Hope to see you there Brenda!
How wonderful is that!!!! Yes, Brenda will be there!!!!!
Stitching friends are a treasure. And how much fun to meet at The Attic! Wonderful people there (Jean and Cheri, I’m looking at you), who are such inspirations. BTW, I take notes on all your episodes and learn so much each time.
Thank you so much Leslie!!!
Wonderful video! I adopted a few ducks, thanks for the reminder!!
Thank you for doing that Jasmine!!!
Great to have you Ladies back! So excited you had a great time on your trip. Loved your haul but I would be overwhelmed. Have a great week!
Thank you Mary!!!!!
So much inspiration in one place is freaking AWESOME!!! Love you two! Hugs from NE Ohio.
Hugs back to you Chris!!!!
I was expecting a long video and wasn't disappointed, thanks ladies and welcome back. Brenda, you should scan your family photos so you and your brother can have all of them. My husband and I each have huge families and he has become the family memory keeper so now everyone has the photos on a flash drive and in Dropbox.
Thank you Linda!!! and great idea about the photos!
Sooooo fun to watch you two and all that you did and purchased. Love it all so much!
Thank you Joni!!!!
You two are so fun to watch. I enjoyed seeing all your stuffs and hearing about your wonderful trip. Have a great week!

Ooh I hope you ladies left some stuff at the Attic! My husband planned a golf trip in Phoenix so I could go shopping at the attic! Bless him! I’m so happy you all had so much fun there . Can’t hardly wait for Friday 😊
We left stuff for you Jen!!! Did you find some!!!!???
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 oh my gosh it was a complete nightmare trip to get there , but everyone took care of me and my pug puppy once we got there . This place feels like home . They speak my language. They were at once - teachers , carers, puppy entertainers, hosts, friends and kind. Magical . I cried upon arriving and cried leaving for very different reasons. Love of this joyful craft was all around me there.
@@jendickson2201 That is so wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much Frederika!!!!!!! Glad you are able to go to retreats in NZ!
It is shaping up to be a really doozy! I bet I won't even be able to stitch during it! I added Santino Ferrucci to my list of drivers because this AJ Foyt car story is something else!
So lovely joining you gorgeous girls just now. Your enthusiasm is fantastic, your diligence getting everything done. Thanks for letting me into your life. ❤️🇦🇺
Thank you for joining us!!!!!
Great video as always! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you Jill!
