not sure if you will read this but white castle does this thing where they steam the burgers ontop of onions. Basically they heat the griddle, toss a thick layer of diced onions on it then toss the raw burger on there and let it steam through the onions. I like it but I can see how that would be a weird thing for most. You either love it or hate it as a method of cooking but i'm glad it exists since nobody else really even tries to do anything like that.
