- We are in a small, dreamy French village where everyone would like to live. Life is peaceful and people are happy. Every now and then a small steam train passes through the sweet village. The steam locomotive pulls two passenger cars and runs on a narrow gauge track. This little work of art was built by railway enthusiast Hans Louvet in 1/64 scale.
Charmingly lazy day clip. .. to reminisce simple life for a while...
I love the layout and the French Village looks so real It’s certainly some place I would love to live 👍😊💕
Amazing layout, I was expecting Rene Artois wearing his apron to emerge from Cafe des Amis as Lieutenant Grubers beer is sold there
The bird sounds really complete the whole thing
looking great dear
This small French village and train layout are very charming. I'd love to live here, but probably not in the local hotel. The roof looks like it needs work. The artist left nothing out, which is so amazing. Thank you for bringing this wonderful video to us.
Also, train too nearly to houses, difficult to sleep
@@vittoriodiana2269 For that reason I don't want to book that hotel!
I can smell the fresh baked french bread and yummy pastries ....
Bravo.
cute little locomotive
Thank you for sharing this amazing and beautiful video 😊
Thank you as always. Beautiful
Pilentum, this combinatie of filming en sound (little music) is so good. I say if you have stress watch these movies and you are “ de-stressed ..super
Beautiful layout
My favourite Pilentum Video.
Thank you!
Perfect! I felt like I was there, walking through the alleys and riding in that train. Bravo!👍✨
Great looking structures!🇫🇷🍷🥂
Most interesting and entertaining
That steam locomotive is…
ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!! I LOVE IT
(Yes I call small steam locomotives adorable, who can blame me?)
I agree...adorable.
@@lissanne9769 Hurrah! I’m not the only one!
@@SmallTown_Studio No, guys, you ain't. The smaller and quirkier they come, the more I love them. God bless the memory of Hunslet, Bagnall, Corpet-Louvett and Davenport
@@johndavies1090 God Bless.
It is adorable….
Mesmerizing detail. Fabulous.
Outstanding level of detail! Really nice work!

This is about the best little RR ever!
Impresionante 👍 😲 muy bonitas 🚂🚂🚂
Lovely!
Beautiful! Really, really nice! The atmosphere is perfect! I'd love to see what your layout looks like, shape and size. Keep it up!
I agree would really like to see a more overall view of the layout.
The lady out measures 3 x 1.8 m. Square. The train runs through 4 landscapes. The lady out is bought by the departement de Put de Dome. Thanks for the complimenten. Hans Louvrt
Godibilissimo.
Very nice video like and share hope there more to come thanks DD.
Nice ! Tres joli!
Movie masterpiece, as usual 👍
très jolie. c'est merveilleux
i wish i could have such talent
Do not be upset! I don't have that talent either. I can only make videos. I can't build a model railway either.
Very very nice! 👍
Really lovely
quelle merveille !
Oh wow!
Muy bueno!! Te transporta al pasado 👌🥰
If I had a chateau to live in nearby and vineyard, oui.
Real " atmosphere " !!!!
I'm wondering what the "third rail" on some curves is for; some sort of stabilizer for sharp turns? Have never seen this in real world.
Fell centre rail - provides extra adhesion for climbing and braking on steep gradients - the engine would have an extra set of wheels to engage with the rail rather like a rack and pinion (cogwheel) railway. The Snaefell Mountain Railway on the Isle of Man uses the Fell system, but only only for braking.
@@roderickjoyce6716 Thanks for the info!
It is the system Hanscotte
Looks impressively detailed the trackwork leaves a lot to be desired but everything else is stunning
That sounds acurate
Pre-Vichy, presumably.
Rather splendid-but would such a location support both an electric tram line and a steam railway? I doubt it. A pity about the shallow depth of field of this video.
It is really as it was in 1920.. i have pictures of the site.
Why the 3d rail in spots?
Loco and wagons have horizontal weels., pressed on the third rail. On the loco for extra adhesion, wagons for breaks. Loco is always on the front.
Cudo
Nobody playing petanque?
Oh yes, on the market place but you cannot see it on the video.
On30 ? Or hon30
1:64n m ---SnM.
Metric Gauge, S scale... eg track looks like HO Maerklin stud three rail. ( AC?)
(Equivalent to Sn3 for US modelers)
It is Sm, metergauge.
Thats an old one
Yes, but now to see in clermond Fd because of the 10. Anniversary of the new Tramway de Puy de Dome.
The layout is spectacular but performance of the steam engine and trackwork is mediocre at least
Ruining the overall excellent views totally.
