I've often wondered about the possibility of building a dual-scale layout, with HO in the foreground, and N in the background, but this takes it to another level!
Top level trick - N train appears on back, hides behind something (hill) and then exactly the same HO train appears on front from tunnel. Requires automatic control with precise syncronisation but worth it!
The perspective was excellent. The emphasis on land, sea, and air is unique. I felt like I was waiting at the station for my ride to come. I especially enjoyed the attention to detail throughout the layout.
Absolument magnifique, on a l'impression de voir jusqu'à 1Km au loin et le déplacement des véhicules est fluide et sans à-coup, le tout est sublimé par votre maîtrise de filmé ces décors. Cette vidéo est superbe et relaxante.
Men are often criticised for not being attentive to housework - However put them in a loft or shed somewhere, and look what they can come up with - This is breathtaking in its workmanship - Thanks for posting
This is so incredibly detailed I half expected the people and animals to start moving as well. Just the smoothness of the boats on the river and the detail in everything makes this one of the best model layouts I have ever seen. Just captivating. That is certainly some speedy ducks and ducklings though 😁
Ir's like seeing pictures of a history book coming to life. Fantastic !!!. And the optical illusion works wonders. Is that the Graf Zeppelin in the air ???. wunderbar !!! 🤩
Very impressive. I enjoyed that. I even liked the music. You really (imo) have a skill for this kind of thing. Thank you for filming/editing/posting this. ☮
Very nice! Nijmegen holds a special place for me (business trips in modern times) Thanks for sharing a historic view through expert modeling. Greetings from Portland, Oregon, USA.
Beautiful, and for once you also give a general overview instead of zooming in all the time on details, without giving any indication as how big the layout really is......
How does the airship work? My guess is that there are magnets running behind the scenery, but there would need to be some way to stop the airship veering downwards.
Perspective means Point of View. European paintings employ one point of view to make their illusion of three-dimensions. So the viewer has to stand in one place to make it work. Most model railways are viewed from many places around the track and this is why perspectival backdrops are impossible to get right.

I saw this at an exhibition some time ago. It is absolutely gorgeous. When you are standing right in front it looks like it is several meters deep.
Some modlers currently use N scale in the back of HO scale for that reason. They also reduce the size and definition of scenery.

It must be difficult to make such small things move smoothly, so slowly.
I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful layout. I'm still scratching my head. Thank you.
Félicitations à Loek Bronkhorst pour sont formidable travail !
Tout est beau et apaisant à regarder merci pour ce partage ...
Greetings from Colorado : yet another fine European layout showing , thank you!
Beautifully filmed…as always🥰D.
Nice discovery of a layout to film. And the music reflects the laid back pace of the scene. Thanks, Ronn
Amazing breathtaking.Thhanks a lot for your hard work.Good luck in your next projects.Greetings from UK
Idyllisch en rustgevend. Prachtig gedaan! Warme groeten uit Vlaanderen.

A joy to watch. Nice music and time to admire the detail. Thank you.
Utterly fabulous, thanks for posting.

I recognise that field and the dike. That is very close to where the 82nd Airborne stormed the river during Operation Market-Garden!
That is exactly what I was thinking as well
What a beautiful layout 😮
Ciao.

Did everyone catch the ghost in the attic at the 4:15 mark?
So inspiring, so amazing!
Coś pięknego. Niesamowite, zadziwiające i imponujące. 👍 👏 (h).
Simply amazing...🚂
this is fantastic thank you
Mid-1930s judging by the markings on the Zeppelin. Very nice model.
I love this channel
That’s really cool. Ya, I’m a word Smith. Enjoy…
Incantevole! 👍
My sister inlaw and her family lived in Nijmegen before moving to the USA.
Merci du partage! Stéph.
Superbe.
Wow. It reminds me of an episode of Trumpton.
Look it up...............
Wow!
This makes you wonder if you can make a better layout it a class well on its own above any others Ive ever seen

A bridge not too far.
Unbeleavebal!
Een meesterwerk! 🤩

Plese the name of the music!!! Lovely
It's got that perfect mood. I was able to find it. Artist "Royalty Free Music Maker" - Title "A Rainy Day" - Soundcloud & Spotify
what lacks here is the container ship DALI
To reach perfection the people in the scene must have movement,no to be still
I have to know what song is this?
As in all Pilentum videos, it's a song that I improvised on my electric piano.
@@pilentumbeautiful
Should be called an awesome scenery with a few train tracks.
The modeling is excellent as is moving boats/cars but it couldn't be further from being a model railway layout. On that count a failure.
Een hele diepe buiging voor de ontwerpers en de bouwers, dit overtreft werkelijk alles. Nog nooit zo iets moois gezien.
