Another self-love tip... Travel. EVEN if it means going alone. I'm taking a solo trip to the pacific coast this weekend and next month I'm taking a solo trip to Seattle. Don't be afraid to travel solo ladies!
@@CarrieRad Yes! I traveled solo all through my mid-20s after a terrible breakup, and I thought my world was ending, but to my surprise, it had only just begun. GAME. CHANGER.
I really needed to hear the one about rushing milestones. I’ve been definitely experiencing that with things like my first kiss and relationship and also with losing my virginity. I feel the need to just get things done and under my belt when I truly can just wait and let things come to me. I just turned 20, no need to rush! Thanks Carrie :)
Protecting your energy is such a crucial and important tip! Thank you for saying that! We need to put ourselves first even at the expense of others! Loving this series, Carrie! Thank you and blessings!! 😚💗👏🏼
Loved this video! I just turned 30 in May and have struggled with not liking myself and being really hard on myself nearly my whole life and now that I'm 30 I'm more than ready to start learning to love and accept myself xx
Literally the only channel I've ever been this interactive with on feedback. I just have to say that you're so effortlessly pretty. Not just looks but your soul and aura. Thank you for starting RUclips those years ago! 💞💞💞
This video really helped me thank you ! I’ve been stressing out a lot about college and I have this personal deadline of when I want to graduate but it has added too much stress that is not helping so I will try to practice these new habits !
Work life balance! I turn 30 in December and I loved this video. I'm constantly working on balance of everything. Work, life, friends, family and any tips you have would be amazing. Embracing where you are is so lovely too- note to self: embrace being pregnant 😂💕
So thankful I found your channel. You have been a wonderful light in my life and daily routine. Your videos have been a breath of fresh air. You have inspired me so much ! Thank you
I would love to see a video about work/life balance, also focusing on studying and free time. I'm such a perfectionist and in the time before exams at University I don't allow myself anything else, because I need to study. And that's just a bad habit. Maybe some tips on that (and how you manage it, because your work is at home too and studying is as well). Lots of love ❤️😘
Carry, thank you so much^ I adore these series! One thing - I would make the music a little bit quieter when intro stops and you start to talk, cause its hard to hear you first 5-7 sec) But everything else is beautiful and full of wisdom)
‘Learn to love your journey’ really spoke to me. I’m finding that so challenging because I have a decade long history with depression and anxiety (and I’m only 25, yay for starting early 🙄) but you put it in words and that will be staying with me. Thank you ❤️
Omg! I didn’t realize we were born only days apart... yes, i had to google your bday after you said you were a September baby lol... love your videos so much. Thank you for this amazing channel.
Thank you so much for this video Carrie, I needed to hear this. I've just turned 28. I got married last November and I'm really happy in my relationship. This was a milestone that was right for us but we could feel the pressure from those around us after being in a relationship for so long. Now we have the pressure of the kids milestone and we are having to set those boundaries with family and friends, it will be in our own time not theirs. I am only just learning to manage where I spend my energy, and that has come from some issues with my career. I'm learning to put myself first and protect my energy and emotions. This video has really helped to solidify the lessons I am learning right now.
It's always enlightening when something bad happens to someone, and you look at that person's social media and see absolutely no reflection of that truth in their posts. For example, people who commit suicide but appeared by all electronic accounts to live happy lives. Or I've seen multiple couples in my life divorce mere days or weeks after posting something celebrating their anniversary or talking about how much they love their spouse and could never live without them. People are projecting so much online, and sometimes I think we think if we write enough beautiful words or try hard enough, that will make those words true, but life doesn't often work that way. When I start comparing myself to others based on social media, I just try to keep those situations in mind, and remember that social media may be more of a projection of a person's hopes than their actually reality, and even if it is true in the moment, lives can change on a dime.
I loved this list! I am 23 and working on these right now! 😊 it's been about a year since I've been out of college and I am not where I originally saw myself. I realize now that I am still young and I have more time to do other things right now than immediately start a career and a family 😁
I recently found your channel and let me tell you I am SO grateful that I did. I've recently started a self-care self love journey in my life and so much of what you talk about in this channel resonates with me. I've been watching your videos from last years self care summer and I'm feeling very inspired! Thank you for creating this content. OH and I love your podocast
I love youuuu!! Thank you for filming this video ♥️! Every time I get the RUclips notification I get so happy and instantly stop whatever I'm doing in order to watch it and send it to my friends:)
Hi Carie! You always give the best advice 💗 Thank you for always reminding me to take care of myself and for showing me how to do so. The information that you put out always gives me a new perspective. Please, don’t stop creating content! You’re amazing!
I'm single since couple of months now, so thank you for your advice, I will try to have some fun with it! ^^ But honestly, I could need a entire video about this point if your're inspire by it! ^^
The one about having the hard conversations !! yes !! also i hope we're still with you in ten years when you have your animals (: if not, thats cool too. no pressure
Lolllll the clip of him asking her to make coffee and she’s like or you can make it your a big boy. Oh man haha spotted it! Still great video tho! It’s set up so well
1). Stop expecting from yourself and stop comparing yourself. 2). Connect to nature 3). Have hard communications - communication is crucial. 4). Take your time - don't run your milestones. 5). Set boundaries in work - life - know where to spend energy. Work - life balance.
This video came just in time for me. Thank you, Carrie, you're awesome. You explain things so well and you're so down to earth you make me remember what's like to just be, to just, you know, act like a total human sometimes. ;d Keep up the amazing work!

There's no rush in life, just believe in yourself, life is guiding you in the right direction, don't compare yourself to others ♡
This is such a well said and expressed notion and concept. It’s not a race, by any means!! 🙏🏼💕
I’m only 19 but it’s never too early to get started right 😂😂
Yes!!! Never too early! ♥️☺️
Same😂🙌🏼 love and power to us and to you Carrie ❤️❤️

I love that you made stop comparing yourself to other people number one. That's so hard to do, yet so important.
Great words! It is so true that we take ourselves for granted, especially when we are younger or in our early 20's.
Take notes and go over them everyday...

Definitely the comparison is a struggle in this day and age. Really good reminders. Even if you’re way past 30 you can start learning to self love.

I love that you focus on self care /self love. It is so good to get into: it relaxes us and makes us way more able to do the things we want in life
