- After completing the NC500 in our Quirky-campers hired camper van we decided that van-life was for us. We loved it, so we purchased our own van to convert into an all singing all dancing camper of our dreams!
Join us as we convert our Peugeot Boxer 2019 L3H2, with zero experience, into our dream camper-van from scratch... is it going to make our dreams come true or is it going to be the project of our nightmares?
In this episode we install our four bonded windows to our campervan. The first window was scary and very stressful. Overall the job was fairly easy and went smoothly, however, we did discover we has a very minor leak that we had to plug after we had fitted the window. For this we opted to take the easy option of adding some additional sealant to the top of the window in order add an additional water tight barrier. We used Masterbond initially and then added a second coat of puraflex as the masterbond was a little too thick to work with and we found the puraflex easier to work with for this fix.

Are you going to fit rotating seats? We visited Seaham to meet some friends just the other week to walk the dogs along the promenade I think they’re called the tops
We are planning to fit the seats next year possibly. I think we will wait a bit due to money, but it's in our plan

@@Andy-ShudhaOnTheMove cheers that would be nice. You are living our dream. Next year we may put our house on the market and move closer to Seaham Fishburn, or maybe your area. Then maybe van will be incoming 🤞 you might even get to meet our six month old Doberman phoebe. My other love is aviation simulation
