Virat Kohli has been the best captain in test cricket atleast in India if not the world. I would say everyone to check the stats and see the manner of losses overseas when Dhoni was the captain.. In England we lost 4-0 where India lost the games by an innings twice and once by over 300 runs. Similar things happened in Australia 2011. Even South Africa won a test by an innings in India. And since virat has been the captain, series overseas has been very very competitive. India never let the game drift away and bounce back everytime our heads are against the wall..I dont remember any test match under Msd where we conceded a lead and ended up winning it because he used to surrender and get defensive in his approach. Glad that he retired from tests early.

I would say everyone to check the stats and see the manner of losses overseas when Dhoni was the captain..
In England we lost 4-0 where India lost the games by an innings twice and once by over 300 runs.
Similar things happened in Australia 2011.
Even South Africa won a test by an innings in India. And since virat has been the captain, series overseas has been very very competitive. India never let the game drift away and bounce back everytime our heads are against the wall..I dont remember any test match under Msd where we conceded a lead and ended up winning it because he used to surrender and get defensive in his approach. Glad that he retired from tests early.
