Used to play there often 15-20 years ago. They used to have a tourney once a week where the winner got a seat into a World Series event, hotel, and then prize money. Usually when it got down to 4 or 5, people would split the money and play for the seat. Was a great tourney
The intros and recaps are awesome! I always fast forward with Brad O’s introductory monologue, but I really like your intro’s and watch it all the way through. Also, I admire how you’re one of the few poker vlogers who actually tips the dealer on a consistent basis! Kudos and good luck!👍🏽
You got to 70 vlogs pretty quick. Good work man. Way to go on what I presume to be a pretty profitable endeavor in poker and good on you to keep the content rolling.
Please give Whataburger another shot. It has always been my absolute favorite, especially double meat/double cheese. That combination with mustard and chopped onions is awesome. Make sure it's fresh and hot. I now live in South America and it is one of the things I miss most about Houston, Texas!
Anyone else catch the guy robbing the $25 chip from the pot around the 12:40 mark? As the dealer is pushing Mariano the pot, the hand in the left of the frame snags a $25 chip. Am I the only one who saw that?
I just started playing poker again because i found out that poker was allowed in texas and the lodge is actually where i play now! 🤗 ive seen the live table before its pretty dope and depending what time you go ill definitely try and go and watch your game possibly join but probably not since half the technique i apply in my games is from what i learn from watching your videos but good luck when you come here!
Great video, love Lake Elsinore. Go there every year in February, a lot of nice people. Bought you a white Russian a few years ago. Say hello to Tiffany
at regular speed, i don't know if it's really all that clear, but i watched again at slower speed and his hand does motion as if he threw it back in the pile being dragged by Mariano
Smooth session there! (Except for first hand). Vlog should be named "The Three Kings" 👑👑👑 flopping three top sets. Running 🔥🔥🔥& insane hourly 67BBs! Nice vlog!👍
You should check poket of kings (3rd hand). Bcz you have the best hand and two lower cards with king high. If someone has club draw, he will call. But according to table structure, it has a lower chance.
Usually theres not much action when you flop a set of Aces or Kings because you have all the cards, Good thing you were able to make some money. Great vlog man!!
Played my first casino poker this weekend lol way different than all these online games when you actually sit at a table . Went 100$ all in withh double A and lost to a river flush 😭
Pocket tens are not strong enough to check back there on the turn imo. Plenty of protection needed and value to be had by betting turn. Hands I would use as traps on the turn would be AA or KK sometimes.
Not sure why, but QJ offsuit is the hand that beats my premium, made hands CONSTANTLY. So I was bummed to see the same fate happen to you. But I love the second KK hand - the villain clearly had a nine and made the cardinal sin of calling a flop bet with middle pair and assuming he sucked out on you on the turn. Too many players forget that just because their hand improves, that doesn't mean the other guy's hand didn't get upgraded even more. The best. At least you won two-thirds of your flopped top sets. I'd rest easy with that batting average.
Love the vlogs, Mariano! What do you usually do to study and improve when not at the table? Do you use any training sites or have a group of people to discuss hands with? Good luck!
What an insanely successful session. Karma! The KK made a fortune today! Also nice that AKo goes through in the last hand, at 10% ... Go on! Greeting from far far away Germany ...
@@seankiesling2054 unless he's showing the hands or at least the cards when he wins, I really think he's making up his wins. No one gets lucky every single time.
I got a small chuckle near the beginning when you decide to check your QJ because "I can't be betting all the flops I hit because that would be too predictable". At this table I think you're over thinking a bit, after that first KK hand where you raise in early position, continue on the flop, you get raised by a guy with a gutter before anyone has even gotten out of the way! Then you get a multiway pot where another guy decides to bluff at it, who knows with what, when you had AK. Not much thinking going on at this table.
Holy crap.. you’re right. And there’s no way it was an accident, it was absolutely larceny. @Mariano - man... hope you know who that guy was and keep an eye on him in the future. He should be reported anyway to the casino, your footage is enough to get him banned.
I wish you would get more in depth with your bet sizing, I love the way you played those pocket 10s but would love to hear your reasoning on sizing on flop and other spots!
Its a good day when Mariano and Brad Owen upload on the same hour
Didn’t even see brads upload, made my day knowing I’ve more new content to watch lol
@@conorrafferty926 same...now im going look for it
Rampage Poker too
And they both had a big session
Andrew as well.
Your videos are so chill.
As a Texan, poker gets nuts here, especially Austin and San Antonio. Good luck to you my friend
“Everyone and their mother make the call”
That should of been your title for your vlog! 😂 Great win Mariano.
pocket kings 3x and top set every time...just wow
if u play for 10 hours, crazy things like that happen
@@garyzhu690 my last 3 sessions combined were about 20 hours. landed top set once.
@@hyphenizm sometimes you run good, sometimes you run bad, this is poker
Texas poker is indeed the craziest poker.. 1000bb deep fairly easily.
That was so fun to watch, thanks for your time and effort, one of the best out there on the website! Pura Vida from Costa Rica!
Pure wild, wild west with all those cowboys!
Excellent vlog, as always!
Good luck in Texas - Do not forget to take those sets with you :D
Great vlog as always!!
I very much admire and appreciate the high quality editing and overall approach to your vlogs. Keep it up. Also In-n-out > Whatthehellaburger any day.
Great content as always, and I really appreciate your hand analysis.
Been watching Mariano long enough now to appreciate how he puts his videos together. Time to bust that sub-ceiling and reach 100K!
Just the speed of them getting out from the day of session played... Rampage is 2 months in the past when it posts

Felt that cathartic release with you winning that second pocket kings hand
Another great vlog, I’m lookin forward to seeing your Lodge sessions. Be VERY careful when bluffing in TX. They never fold!!

U became the best poker (vloger) player, I really like your game.
Ive been watching The Lodge live streams for a bit!! Cant wait to watch you play!

The lodge game is gonna be sick
No you didn't Mariano with that sneaky jab at the end! 🤣 Whataburger all day, errrrrr-day bro! The Lodge is my local card house, see you then 💪🏽
Another sick blog!!! Keep it up bro!
Awesome one man! Great session! 👍
2 things: Solid Play and Respect for the Clean Whip !! Salute !!
The view🥰🥰🥰back with another great video😎the intro looks like a movie 🤗
Wow, the non standard color of those chips would screw with me. Nice work!
yes, the $25 look like $5
Exactly! White is usually the smallest, and Hundis are black- this was bizzarro world with white 100s 😵
Cali colors! Typically blue 1s, yellow 5s, and the occasional white 100. 25 chips seem to mix between purple (Hustler and Lady Luck) and other comors

Of all the varieties of Russians I’m with you, i do prefer the white ones
Ok, the little extendo arm that one dealer had was kinda adorable
Anybody else see the guy in seat #9 steal the orange chip at 12:50??? or was that just a camera trick?
watched it at 0.25 speed, looks like he just tossed it back into the pile
at regular speed, i don't know if it's really all that clear, but i watched again at slower speed and his hand does motion as if he threw it back in the pile being dragged by Mariano
I watched the live stream to the end and you were making a good comeback. The first hand was a big cooler 🥶 so sick.

It’s one thing to get pocket kings three times. But to flop a set all three times; wow!!! Excellent vlog and congrats on the win 👍🏾
I just started watching your videos, do you have a wild image at the table? Just some of these calls you get are like, wow!
Well played session my man!!!!

at the 12:50 mark, Kings full pot, the guy to the right of the dealer steals 1 of Marino s chip. Thief !

Gz on the win again bro!
Looking swole brother 💪🏻
Out of curiosity, how long did it actually take you to get from your table to the cage when you went to cash out?
Good luck in Austin! Game plays big but so do you now! Run it up and show them how it's done!

Mariano, Brad Owen, Andrew Neeme and Rampage all uploaded on the same day 😊
Rampage lmao
I honestly think Rampage just makes up his videos. There's no way someone can win that many times every single video.
@@julee5071 I've never seen a more skewed logic/win rate/luck as that guy. He makes the most weird head scratching obscure plays and gets bailed out

Good stuff. Enjoyed
12:48 does the guy on the left steal a chip from the pot?
I just watched it at half speed... he actually picks it up and throws it to Mariano. But i thought he stole it at first too
What was there to explain on that second KK hand lol that was an auto shove with top full house. Nice hand and well played
Nice win!
12:49 that guy stole a chip
great session, wonder what that guy had on that last hand, Kx probably with a club
Great session, good luck in Texas
what is a must move table? we dont have this in europe
I saw that shit at the end, Whataburger in Texas! 🤣
12:51...... mariano...the guy left to you stole an ORANGE CHIP FROM THE POT YOU WON...WHAT POETIC JUSTICE BRO...? 12.48 - 12.51....see that

Keep up the good work!

Always loving the intro beats my man, could you post the songs in the description?
Great video!
Hey man how long would you recommend sessions be?
I love your video and others and love how you dont try just keep betting. very great play.
Where do you get your poker card images from?
Nice session Mariano.

Damn bro you’re fast at uploading! I just saw you there ok Saturday lol
