From Gatherer: If a spell or ability requires multiple players to face a villainous choice, the result is a little different from other effects in Magic. In that case, the first player in turn order makes their choice and the action for that choice is performed before the next player makes their choice. Then each of the remaining players repeat this process in turn order.
My favorite thing about this having Corey now is watching him experience all the powerful cards in EDH and just going "oh yeah this isn't fun I'm done playing this card"
Tbh the fact frogs don’t color match gitrog well 1/3 shown could actually play it, and that the bats were so criminally under-represented makes me sad. I’ve got an ‘actually just a cave’ deck with a ton of cave lands, bats, bugs, (mana) rocks, etc. I’d been hoping to swap out a ton of bats in but the fact we got so little sucks. Darkstar augur tho
I played Jeremy's flubs deck yesterday on TTS before watching this video and won on turn 5 killing everyone with impending flux for 20 and valakut awakening for 10 after getting everyone below 30 with the red background in this deck.... idk if it was just a perfect storm for me but it went crazy
It was great seeing Mr. Suarez at Gencon last week. I was bummed to hear you guys are moving away from carrying foreign language cards. See you guys at Vegas in October!
Having enjoyed abusing Intruder Alarm since it came out, that was fun to see! My OG version just used all the various Tim creatures to ping damage everywhere, and then Kiki Jiki came out, making Infinite so easy and fun hehe. Sigil of Sleep and Curiosity worked wonders to bounce problem creatures, draw solutions, counterspells, or get to the Alarm itself whilst minimizing risks. Hehe its sat unused now for years, because of the levels of Salt it brought out hahaha 😂 Also true for most of my classic Infinite decks 🤷♂️😂😜 I just keep building more shenanigans, and no one knows what to expect unless they have sleeves/deck boxes memorized from over the years hehe 😜
So he wouldn't have been able to Otawara the Shalai because the Frost Jarl gives other creatures Ward 3. Since he only had 5 mana he couldn't channel Otawara for 3 and pay 3 for the targeting cost of ward.
1:15:20 Stephen was kinda correct. While Shalai doesn't give herself hexproof, Jeremy didn't have enough mana to pay for her ward granted by Storvald. They question it later, but no...
intruder alarm is so silly - one of my favorite memories was someone using that and being able to instant speed kill the table with my elf deck because of their own card :P also yall mixed up the reveal/look at top card with augur of autumn and oracle - augur is a look, oracle is a reveal
While misplays can be frustrating from a viewer perspective, at the end of the day SCG are just providing us with the real commander experience where mistakes are made.
The cascade should have resolved after the full resolution of the other spell(after kodama's reach) not in the middle of its resolution so the cascaded spell should have had x=2 +1 for 3 damage
yeah that whole sequence was done a bit incorrectly, but villainous choice with multiple players it a bit weird so I don't really blame them. Each player is supposed to make their choice then resolve that choice before the next player chooses. What should've happened is steven chooses free spell and jeremy casts the kodama's reach, cascade triggers from wild-magic sorcerer (but doesn't resolve until the ensnared by the mara fully finished resolving), then john chooses the top 4 and takes damage, then cory chooses free spell and jeremy casts beza, then once beza and its ability resolves, jeremy finally cascades looking for 2 or less
I thought they'd all be cast at the same time, on the stack in the order you choose. All the cast triggers (including cascade) go on top of those spells. I'd love to know if I'm wrong.
It’s not like Etali, it’s doing it one player at a time does the full action, then the rest. “If a spell or ability requires multiple players to face a villainous choice, the result is a little different from other effects in Magic. In that case, the first player in turn order makes their choice and the action for that choice is performed before the next player makes their choice. Then each of the remaining players repeat this process in turn order.”
So what would’ve happened is Kodama goes on stack, then John mills and damages, then the white creature I can’t remember the name of from Corey goes onto the stack, then the spell finishes resolving and the wild magic triggers causing a cascade off of Kodama.
Bloomburrow has been a muse to my whole playgroup. Collectively, we've built 9 new decks! To be fair, we play pretty casual, but this set has been a home run for casual commander. I hope you guys get to play with some more bloomburrow commanders.

Much love, thank you my friends

New rule suggestion: Lose a point if you interrupt a player reading their card.
Steven's maniacal stare in the beginning when he rang the bell! 🤣🤣🤣 I'm dead!!
I built Ygra as a tribute to my cat who believes he has NEVER BEEN FED before.
My favorite thing about this having Corey now is watching him experience all the powerful cards in EDH and just going "oh yeah this isn't fun I'm done playing this card"
Glad Jon played the one bat legend in the set! Kinda annoying that frogs got 4 legends and bats just got one 😒 Hopefully we’ll get more in the future!
Agreed, the bats were under-explored. Another side effect of single set story blocks :/

like how steven didn't play with his top card revealed when oracle is out, but corey plays with his revealed but he does not need to. XD
Jeremy sneaking in with the "its an older code". I see you.
Great game!! Thanks for the video! Bloomborrow seems to be such a great set

John missed the Lilipad Luncheon for Frogs.
It's sad Jonathan wasn't toad about the frog meeting.
He was Toadaly Left out!
Golf clap!
Corey, we all know you cannot have the thing you describe is "guilty" fun.
Jeremy should be at 29.5 points cuz during the random roles he had 5 lands before everyone else. John had a mana rock with his lands

Sweet video, guys!

Also I thought Corey made the Shalai base 7/7, not the Augur..
Thank you

I literally was like yeah Corey is just giving away free information that he didn't need to.
lol WHOOPS!
I made a Glarb Clone list and it's pretty fun, love that frog
Fun game, what a great set they gave us with this one
Intro time stamp - John, you could say they did tell but but your memory is a little... froggy

Seeing John playing Bats reminds me of the Justin Parnell “Bat”man deck.
Great johney Appleseed day video
Bring back Justin
Looking forward to next video. I pulled a Lumra and I’m trying to figure out if I want to build a commander deck around it
You can do it!
Watch you guys explain how good that alarm was is funny can tell who see the wild ride that card can start
As someone with 3 five colour frog tribal decks i sincerely hope all 4 players have frog tribal decks.

This game was hopping.
I was hoping for inkshield or akroma’s will for Jon
jeremy couldnt have otawara'd the angel, had ward 3
I really want a game for flubs to shine!
John didn’t take 4 from the exile board wipe from Jeremy 28:53
I would love to see an all otter deck!
I have an izzet otter deck on Arena. Its about as wild as one might expect
Looking for SCG Con Tampa!
augur of autumn is look at the top, not reveal.
1st! Team green ready to represent!
Boom!
I’m here!
Did i miss the points at the end??? Is that something they are no longer doing?
I was looking for it too
Team John!
23:45 i'm pretty sure you cast them in the player turn order, so the cascade should be from kodama's reach
I thought they'd all be cast at the same time, on the stack in the order you choose. All the cast triggers (including cascade) go on top of those spells. I'd love to know if I'm wrong.

Last ep was one of the only game's of yours i quit partway through. Recurring mld is just boring.
And i don't mind massive stax.
Hey you guys forgot to talk about points in the end of the episode. 😢
Who would most likely play fogs in their deck. I have a deck idea but i want to see who plays fogs the most
Angus Mackenzie
This is my favorite episode ever.
Deck list glarb?
Bloomborrow: art style is nice returning to more old school magic style not all digital. Everything else about set... lackluster
Like, comment, share, subscribe, binge, hop to it, and ring the bell!!
#mulchbear
Corey discovers another broken card and is shocked that it is broken 😂
Today on another episode of "Corey should have his decks checked before the episode...." Sheesh.
Wah wah Corey actually wasn't targeted first and won. Get over it. They all do broken stuff from time to time.

Ayy tenth comment!!! 😂
John says kindred?! BOOOOOOO
First
I'm just not digging this set.
Thanks for sharing
I'm only still playing magic because of frogs feel ya bro
Commander is destroying standard...what's more it's so stupid.
Mr. Green and I have been playing the same Bloomburrow decks 2 weeks running 🫡
