Most impressive is how Danielle and Adam have given her the tools needed to speak up when she is either bothered by something or feels the need for one on one time. That takes an extraordinary brave and confident little lady. I LoVe when Riley breaks down her siblings and she puts herself in the same "category/maturity level" as big sister Blayke. You can see she is very patient with Riley by not correcting her on just where she falls in the pecking order!!😉🥰 What a special girl, what a special family!!
Can we just stop and give Adam a huge amount of credit. You can really tell how much he’s come on since his post Partum depression and how much it shows in the way he talks, acts etc. We’re all so proud of you! You’ve come so far and are such an inspiration!!!
Carmencita Davis I was watching the NICU video of the quints, and Danielle referred to Hazel as her squished baby. Poor Hazel was not given a lot of room in the womb. I wonder if that might be what ultimately affected her eyes.
I absolutely love how they give each child special time the best that they can with 6 children. I don’t know how they do it even with help. All the children are well rounded and that is a blessing itself. They are really wonderful parents. God bless this beautiful family.
They may not realize it now but those 6 girls are going to grow up knowing they have one of the best dads in the world that love them very much! When they all grow up they will appreciate you more than you'll ever know Adam! 🙏❤
TheOwlCreek I had a dad like Adam. He passed away last April, but at least I have rich memories of him. My dad was my world when I was a little girl and as I got older, I needed my mom more. I was lucky to have great parents like the Busbys are for their girls.

I used to talk in complete sentences when I was 3 years old. When people told me to smile for pictures, I used to say, "There's no reason to smile. It's stupid." Lol, I was way too matured for my age then I went crazy in high school. Got it together in University. Smarter kids bring more trouble.

there is only one advantage of the show cuz they put subtitles on quints speech, sometimes it's hard for me to understand children's speeches as english is not my mother tongue

Usually really smart girls are not so popular in school...nor do they care if they are because they are focused on being the best person possible and achieving goals...hopefully she will just be herself and her friendships will be positive and genuine. (My thoughts from personal experience and being a child counselor for 25 years).
I just don't see why some people parent shame them for talking about Parker's anxiety in front her when it's none of their business. Some people are saying that Adam and Danielle caused Parker's anxiety by picking her up when ever she started crying but that would be separation anxiety not social anxiety.
Bertha Isabel All the girls were tested and Riley scored off the charts. So they gave her another test, and she blew through that, too. To put her in Pre-K with her sisters would be having her repeat what she already knows. She qualified for advanced kindergarten at the private school, where her sisters will be in Pre-K.

She is going to need a lot of reassurance that she is capable of learning, not just “smart.” If that’s all she’s been hearing, she’ll feel like a failure if she can’t measure up to the other kids.
@@patriciabilinkas3911 I never said Riley would not have challenges. I am like her too, I struggle daily with being "smart". It especially hurts to get reminded so often that I was just born this way and didn't work for any of my grades or classes. Last year I actually started failing because the material was too easy and I just wasn't doing the work. But they bumped me up to Algebra 2 while I was in 7th grade which in our city is a 3rd year high school class, and that was better. So I understand everything Riley is going through.

Same! It took me a while to admit to myself that I could no longer control my anxiety on my own. Once I started medication it became so much easier. I still have some struggles, but it has been better. Thankfully Adam and Danielle are aware of it, so they can help her get through.
Amy McGrath I think that the private school they’re in (and Blayke went to as well) gives kids a top-of-the-line education. Adam said that Riley was going to be in advanced kindergarten, the the other girls would be in advanced Pre-K. It will be very interesting to see what they all learn this year.
I I She also seems to have the social skills too which will help if she skips a grade or two. My parents opted to not let my older sister skip because they were concerned about her social development. My cousin skipped two grades but was lacking in social skills so it hurt him. I think Riley will have no problem skipping. She seems to make friends easily. ☺️
I hate how Adam keeps telling Riley she is smart. Praising intellect just sets the kid to fear failure and fear "not being smart". I thought him and Danielle would be more cautious of this. You need to praise a kids hard work, not intelligence. This also makes her sisters feel inferior, and dumb. If they believe this is the role that they play, they will continue to be the "dumb sisters", or second best.
At that age she doesn't fully understand. That is how it is in a four year olds brain, plus everyone told her its because she is so smart. As she gets older she will realize that her sisters are also smart but some excel at things like school more than others.

I love all the girls but I really love PK. I really think she is mature for her age like Blayke and very intensely smart that is why she is shy since she thinks and analyze beyond. I think she is a late bloomer in expressing herself but has the highest IQ though all of them are intelligent and talented and beautiful on their own ways. They need to understand her development, school gave my parents a choice, I skipped 2 grades (kindergarten and 6th grade). I felt too young for my elder class and too grown up for the younger class. This made me such an instrospect person 🤔
Kendra Henrie In this case, I don’t think that will happen with Riley. The teacher even said that Riley is one the smartest kids in her class. Even one year behind, she’s still smarter. Also when she took her test in pre k in season 6 of Outdaughtered, In the end of year placement, Mrs. Randi said Riley got an 96 (I think) and Randi said that that’s better then the kids that just got out of Kindergarten. So I don’t think she will have the chance of struggling. That’s all there saying. But in other people’s case, they may struggle, but I don’t think Riley will. 🙂

All of your girls are so special. It is beautiful to watch them grow on the episodes into different little people who have so much compassion and the way they see different things. Another thing is I think you guys made the best decision you could by moving Riley ahead. She might be a quint but she is also her own person and I think your decision will help her grow by herself without feeling pulled back by the others or even despising the others for holding her back. She is a smart cookie.
The way Danielle is with Riley starting at 9:05... as much as that little girl pushes her buttons, I can see how much she truly loves Riley, regardless. For some reason that particular goodbye moment stood out most in ways I can not even express.

I just don't see why some people parent shame them for talking about Parker's anxiety in front her when it's none of their business. Some people are saying that Adam and Danielle caused Parker's anxiety by picking her up when ever she started crying but that would be separation anxiety not social anxiety.

Bertha Isabel All the girls were tested and Riley scored off the charts. So they gave her another test, and she blew through that, too. To put her in Pre-K with her sisters would be having her repeat what she already knows. She qualified for advanced kindergarten at the private school, where her sisters will be in Pre-K.

I think Riley is actually more gifted than bright as she doesn't have to work for the answers she gets on stuff, she just knows.

She is going to need a lot of reassurance that she is capable of learning, not just “smart.” If that’s all she’s been hearing, she’ll feel like a failure if she can’t measure up to the other kids.
@@patriciabilinkas3911 I never said Riley would not have challenges. I am like her too, I struggle daily with being "smart". It especially hurts to get reminded so often that I was just born this way and didn't work for any of my grades or classes. Last year I actually started failing because the material was too easy and I just wasn't doing the work. But they bumped me up to Algebra 2 while I was in 7th grade which in our city is a 3rd year high school class, and that was better. So I understand everything Riley is going through.
Elizabeth Krabbenhoft That is wonderful that your program is meeting your needs. I taught gifted and talented kids but was really careful not to throw the s word in their faces because they hated it. Coming to my class actually allowed them to relax. Good luck in school this year.

Same! It took me a while to admit to myself that I could no longer control my anxiety on my own. Once I started medication it became so much easier. I still have some struggles, but it has been better. Thankfully Adam and Danielle are aware of it, so they can help her get through.
Had it when I was younger still have it but I can hide it well if I'm talking about or doing something I like.

Amy McGrath I think that the private school they’re in (and Blayke went to as well) gives kids a top-of-the-line education. Adam said that Riley was going to be in advanced kindergarten, the the other girls would be in advanced Pre-K. It will be very interesting to see what they all learn this year.
I have a pretty good feeling she will be ready for 1st grade.
I I She also seems to have the social skills too which will help if she skips a grade or two. My parents opted to not let my older sister skip because they were concerned about her social development. My cousin skipped two grades but was lacking in social skills so it hurt him. I think Riley will have no problem skipping. She seems to make friends easily. ☺️

I hate how Adam keeps telling Riley she is smart. Praising intellect just sets the kid to fear failure and fear "not being smart". I thought him and Danielle would be more cautious of this. You need to praise a kids hard work, not intelligence. This also makes her sisters feel inferior, and dumb. If they believe this is the role that they play, they will continue to be the "dumb sisters", or second best.
And how they separate Riley from the other girls in every situation... I don’t like that
At that age she doesn't fully understand. That is how it is in a four year olds brain, plus everyone told her its because she is so smart. As she gets older she will realize that her sisters are also smart but some excel at things like school more than others.

I love all the girls but I really love PK. I really think she is mature for her age like Blayke and very intensely smart that is why she is shy since she thinks and analyze beyond. I think she is a late bloomer in expressing herself but has the highest IQ though all of them are intelligent and talented and beautiful on their own ways. All girls really are very unique and a stand out on their own way. Love them 💖👑✨🌷

They need to understand her development, school gave my parents a choice, I skipped 2 grades (kindergarten and 6th grade). I felt too young for my elder class and too grown up for the younger class. This made me such an instrospect person 🤔

Kendra Henrie In this case, I don’t think that will happen with Riley. The teacher even said that Riley is one the smartest kids in her class. Even one year behind, she’s still smarter. Also when she took her test in pre k in season 6 of Outdaughtered, In the end of year placement, Mrs. Randi said Riley got an 96 (I think) and Randi said that that’s better then the kids that just got out of Kindergarten. So I don’t think she will have the chance of struggling. That’s all there saying. But in other people’s case, they may struggle, but I don’t think Riley will. 🙂

All of your girls are so special. It is beautiful to watch them grow on the episodes into different little people who have so much compassion and the way they see different things.
Another thing is I think you guys made the best decision you could by moving Riley ahead. She might be a quint but she is also her own person and I think your decision will help her grow by herself without feeling pulled back by the others or even despising the others for holding her back. She is a smart cookie.
The way Danielle is with Riley starting at 9:05... as much as that little girl pushes her buttons, I can see how much she truly loves Riley, regardless. For some reason that particular goodbye moment stood out most in ways I can not even express.
