It sounds fine when acelelating and slowing down. But when he was sending it full power it souds harsh, and it also sounds very rattlely when reving while parked. They actually did an amazing job on the Closed valves. It sounds exiting and quiet at the same time. I guees each car behaves differently with the valvetronic. I still believe the Lotus Emira was probably one of their best yet.
Owner here, the microphone is clipping the audio a bit (just how it goes). In person it never really sounds raspy, even at WOT. There is some audible "rattle" at an idle rev but honestly thats not a problem and could also be the license plate contributing a bit.
@@juniorale411 very hard to say, both are sensational but the dynamics of the GT4 are very hard to beat, in terms of sound i would say the transformation from stock to valvetronic in both cars is some of our best work
What does the loss of the mufflers do for the aero, i know the diffuser was designed with the muffler helping keep the air clean as it passed along the underbody
@@Low_Speed_High_Drag_718 i feel that is a bit marketing lead, in our testing, we saw no change the dynamics of the vehicle deep into the triple digits. The same same thing was said about the e92 M3 with its muffler casing acting like a diffuser. Personally i think if you’re that worried about the last time around the nordschleife, i’d say learn to drive it faster ;)
@@valvetronic haha valid. I track mine here at Sonoma and Laguna Seca. Not nearly fast enough to be feeling any deviations was just curious how real that actually was as far as affecting the aero. Definitely short listing this exhaust between going all in on dundon and JCR. I'm currently running Flat6 OAPs. I'm assuming this interfaces with the standard bolt patern unlike the Dundon?
Respectfully, to anyone else out there that system that you’re referring to is over $15,000 we believe the set up you’re listening to in this video has all the same positives and a little bit more reasonable price tag so that every GT4 and spider owner can enjoy that RSR experience
No one does it like valvetronic 🔥
You guys made the GT4 I already loved become a new car, it woke it up so much!
Good Job Austin!
I might sound mad but I think valvetronic did better on the lotus😅😅 this is great as well👍🏻👍🏻

That sounds so damn well
That sounds great ! Is it available for Europe (France) and how much for this configuration for a 718 spyder ?
@@aureliencaldairou3655 yes it is available in europe, you can order on our website
Sounds awesome. Will this also fit the 718 GTS 4.0?

Do you prefer the custom exhaust Emira sound over this flat-6 in the GT4/RS?
